5 pointsHe was also a former president of the National Congress of American Indians. They don't get much of the spotlight, but they are a big influencer behind the scenes. There have been 22 presidents total, with Earl Old Person serving as the 6th from 1969-1970. I am not sure if this group has been mentioned here before, but it is quite a rabbit hole to see who is alive and dead!

4 pointsTake a deep breath. So, we have a death notice for Karin MacCarthy, actress who appeared in various television roles, but I will remember her as Kate Vavasor in The Pallisers and on a lighter note as Carol in The Squirrels: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/252763/maccarthy However, this death notice also points out that she was the widow of actor Rowland Davies, another actor from the first adaptation authorised by the Agatha Christie Estate in 1980 as Dr George Arbuthnot in Why Didn't They Ask Evans? and also as Earl Spencer in Diana: Her True Story, and Sir Anthony Chevenix in the first Johnny English movie. Now as of this moment, IMDB doesn't have Rowland Davies dead. I'm going to impose on @Ulitzer95 to perhaps find from the information on these two on IMDB to perhaps discover a date of death for Rowland Davies (born Richard Andrew St John Davies) and their reported marriage in 1975. And then of course to report it to IMDB, ha!!

3 pointsThings like these really annoy me: Exhibit 1: from the headline, its apparent that the police were called regarding a body in the water, then a man died falling in the canal. Reading the report, its obvious that this isn't what happened at all, and is as one would suspect, i.e. the presence of a dead body in the water was what prompted the call to the police. Exhibit 2: the conjunction 'as' implies that the two events were simultaneous, while clearly event one happened first triggering event 2.

1 pointWhen you are standing in a queue and realise the person in front of you is wearing the uniform of the said shop you are in. Because they don't have to time to talk when they have been working all day together (sarcasm) you know they think they are entitled to a 10 minute yap at the till because they are work buddies. Wankers.
