He sounds really, really narked. He doesn't give a shit about the Queen, he's just peeved that he hasn't been given any inside information.

Interesting comment on the “in good spirits” line always used by Buckingham Palace. Doesn’t mean anything really - Prince Philip would have been described the same way even in his final days……

Don't know where else to put this. Alec Baldwin accidentally kills woman when a prop gun misfired.

Apparently he has been discharged from the hospice - through I’m not sure if that is because he will die very soon or because his condition has stabilised enough so that he might make 2022. I will be a bit surprised if he makes the death list through even if he is still alive by then.

Nothing to worry about, probably some minor heart issues. Anyway I insist not only she will never become the oldest living state leader, but she won't even be the last standing of the 6 born in 1926.

Bizarre, though I'm currently reading how this could have happened. And who knows, maybe Baldwin just wanted to shot a person for real once, and make it look like an accident. He seems the type.. (Edit: Actually, the more I read about it, he's probably not the type at all.)

Hello Long-time lurker and signed up today. Proud to have a morbid sense of humour - when my dear old Nan died, I quipped to my friends that I went to see the body and said "It's alright, don't get up"

Calling for euthanasia suggests months to go, tbh, but then, Brian Rix did that and just keeled over weeks later. DL wise - Jowell made it, and while she held Cabinet posts, Field had more of a TV presence - especially in the last 5 years with Brexit and his disdain for all things Corbyn. I could certainly see them adding him.

Of all the musicals, and I mean all including Carousel and Pal Joey, The Sound Of Music is probably my most despised. It's long, it's saccharine, and all those reprises....yuk. Lay oh yodel lay do. Or summat.
