1 pointMore a puerile reference to Fiona absent minded saying Diego having had her. Not meant to impregnate your own picks! Really it was a @Gooseberry Crumblejoke...

1 pointJust found out Kundera was six-foot-two inches tall (1.88m) in his prime! https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/7703777-i-am-obedient-i-can-never-say-no-to-those This means Kundera was at one time the tallest candidate from the 2023 DL along with Alan Alda, making Kundera’s continuous survival, plagued by his grave health issues, even harder to explain with this great height. The next tallest on this year’s list, from listings I have found, are: Sandy Gall: 6 ft 1.5 (1.87m) Sonny Rollins: 6 ft 1.5 (1.87m)

1 pointAwe I see nobody has picked my former team regulars Jacqueline White and Christina Crawford-I was convinced someone would thus making them not uniques for me! Going by recent past form that means both will end up on list of the missing this year!

1 pointI'm going to suggest that George Dunn https://www.derbydeadpool.co.uk/deadpool2023/celebs_D.html#dunn99g021was born 21 September 1922 in Whitstable, Kent, as per this news report? https://www.theargus.co.uk/news/22312961.raf-pilot-saltdean-celebrating-100th-birthday-tomorrow/ Also, that report says he was in the Home Guard during the Battle of Britain, so his bio is a bit off - he does have other wartime records of some note though.

1 pointHow many teams do we have this year ? Looks like slightly less than last year ?

1 pointI updated it, and yet I'm having a battle keeping it there because another user is unhappy about the sources I've used. He doubts that she is dead. She is undoubtedly dead. It's not being challenged anywhere else. The origin of this was an Instagram post from her son here on 7th. Countless friends and reputable Twin Peaks/Lynch fan pages have paid tribute to her. Hollywood exec/producer/voice artist Steve Lee on FB here for example. I can't see her getting a Hollywood Reporter or Deadline write up as her family have said they don't want it widely publicised and she was a relatively minor supporting actress whose career flatlines years ago.

1 pointNew season, new avatar, I coincidentally watched a few gaming videos lately. Also Kandinsky gave me some very close misses recently.

1 pointEmperor Hirohito died on this day 34 years ago, aged 87. Hirohito was the longest-reigning Japanese emperor, reigning for 62 years- December 1926 to January 1989. He was most notable for his role in World War II, and was forced to renounce his god complex that the Japanese believed following it. In the tail end of his rule, Japan was experiencing a massive economic boom. Hirohito was diagnosed with intestinal cancer in 1987, and was in noticeably deteriorating health throughout 1988 (a mystery as to why he was not on DeathList 1989- though he could've been on the missing 1988 list for all I know). He died on the morning of January 7, 1989, and was (of course) the first Japanese emperor to have his death announced on television. (Akihito will likely be the first to be announced via internet) World War II veterans attempted to pressure world leaders from attending his funeral, but other veterans like George H. W. Bush did so regardless. Hirohito is often posthumously referred to as the "Showa Emperor".

1 pointSigh. John Lennon and Paul McCartney's complete falling out (which started before Yoko appeared on the scene) and George Harrisons inability to take more of their shit split up the Beatles. Not anyone else.

1 pointI guess they have been mentioned elsewhere but what remains of the Dubliners is worth watching. Luke Kelly and Ciaran Bourke have already gone and Ronnie Drew, another one of the originals is still going (as is the band, still touring too). At around 72, that is positively ancient for a Dubliner.
