6 pointsProbably not a popular opinion on here, but it's a shame to see Don't Look Back in Anger go so early. There are very few songs that are elite-level anthems that you can roll out at huge national occasions, in clubs, at the karaoke etc. and be guaranteed that everyone knows them and will sing along, whether it's a full stadium or a room full of friends. Other ones would be Hey Jude, Angels, or US ones like Sweet Caroline. No Spice Girls song or Blur song has reached that level [except possibly Song 2!] Compared to some remaining on the list that even Olive's mum might have trouble recognising.

5 pointsFor George V's coronation the US sent John Hays Hammond, diplomat and mining magnate, and Maj. Gen. Adolphus Greely, a polar explorer. A joint diplomatic/military representation approach does seem to be the one with precedent. Interestingly, the Vatican representative at the coronation of George V was the future pope Pius XII.

4 pointsRoosevelt didn't attend George VI's coronation either. In fact, it seems to be rare for heads of state to attend the coronation of another. Looking at the guests of the last two coronations, the only monarchs present were from British protectorates, and the European and other royalty were represented by assorted crown princes and other lesser members of their families. As for the US, Gen. George Marshall of Marshall Plan fame was the head of the American delegation at Elizabeth II's coronation, and for George VI's they sent James W. Gerard, a diplomat, and John Pershing, the famous WWI general.

2 pointsI think we can say Kissinger has had significantly more impact on the World than an actress from The Archers in fairness. Bob Hope, Kirk Douglas, Olivia De Havilland and the Queen Mother would have to be up there. I'd also add Leni Riefenstahl and Alf Landon as having a fairly significant impact.
