Not football league, but Roy Erskine, now 92, should get an obit (of sorts). Why should Stirling Albion's oldest living player be so notable for a so-so career with them and Cowdenbeath? Because he's Judy Murray's dad, Andy and Jamie Murray's grandad, that's why.

New photo, this time with Tom Creagh: https://www.irishnews.com/arts/music/2023/11/06/news/shane_macgowan_shares_hospital_photo_with_friend_for_his_birthday-3752040/ The cannula is back. He won't get out of there ever again. Also, it seems Shane has the same kind of level as Jonnie Irwin in terms of "every Instagram post is worth a news article".

Deathrace Form Guide #5 P J Proby I've actually posted this guy in form guides before but let's celebrate his 85th birthday by reminding all comers he was once so famous his current q/o status is a shoo-in, if only because the more lurid papers won't be able to resist an encore of his greatest hits, meaning they'll mention his briefly stellar pop career before diverting into a private life including relationship chaos, brushes with mortality by way of a lifestyle reminiscent of a few DL favourites like Alex "Hurricane" Higgins, Frank Worthington etc. etc. Not in the George Best/Oliver Reed league, but then those two didn't get within 20 years of Proby's current age.

They really are bunch of odious shysters aren't they? It's been obvious since the earliest days of the pandemic that they were in it for as much fame and money as they could as quickly as they could. Young PR agent hired by Ingram-Moores to draft original press release and manage his Twitter feed cut out by family when she was nominated for awards for her work and in Captain Tom's autobiography it is claimed both the press release and the Twitter feed where due to quick thinking by...you guessed it...Hannah Ingram-Moore.

Where to put this one.......? Blac Chyna's house manager "Patty" is in a coma and it's got Chyna's exes, Tyga and Rob Kardashian, opening their wallets to help pay for medical expenses. Patty, who also helped run Chyna's clothing line, suffered a stroke in July but continued to work -- despite doctor's orders -- to support her 3 kids. She went into a coma in December due to bleeding on the brain. What's worse ... Patty was pregnant and doctors had to terminate the baby. SC
