This obit (in Burmese) says that he died at 08:45, giving the cause of death as pneumonia. Congratulations, Drol.

Well done @max_bossetti. I think that's a fair result and, even if my deceased puppeteer had scored me points, I hadn't done anything about getting a new team together, so would have been disqualified anyway. Will be back next year for more.

Her obituary in the New York Times mentions that she once asked her son in law if she could meet the Pope. Now I'm kind of curious if she did. (I will say that a cousin of mine had Barack as one of her teachers in law school before he became president, and apparently he did mention his mother-in-law a couple of times. From my own experience in academia, this is pretty common.)

My mate submitted a DDP team years ago called "Picktons Pork Pies" I never understood this team name until today when I read Picktons Bio Seemed like a nice guy.

Today we laid to rest my Granda who died Tuesday evening, he was just short of 92 and until the start of last year he was still able to live independently but had gone down hill physically since but he was Sharp as a tack. Very much the end of an era as Gran went 9 years ago but they left a quare legacy as when we counted all their descendants and their partners it came to over 100!!
