I think Trump will win since we had the narrative before where Trump faced Hillary who was similarly hated, and it was enough for him to win. Whereas 2020 Biden was more formidable than I initially gave him credit for, at least formidable enough to do what he needed to do to win, but that's all-but-disintegrated now. The scary thing is Biden this year might actually be a weaker candidate than even Hillary was. I like to think my previous DDP strapline "50-50 shot to win the presidency Donald Trump convicted on 34 felony counts" succinctly damns Trump, Biden, and America in one foul swoop.

@gcreptile Whatever coaching Trump got tonight worked. This was the best performance in a speech or debate that I can recall from him in a long time. The difference between him and Biden was just so stark. He may be batshit, but he was relatively competent. Joe Biden's performance should scare Democrats shitless. This is coming from someone who supports him. Harris as the replacement is uninspiring. Almost like her as VP!

I gotta say...watching the debate tonight was disheartening. As someone who has been a stark defender against age complaints, Biden looked rough. The guy sounds and appears visibly unwell. If he isn't replaced before November, Trump is inching closer to the win every day.

To be honest the main focus of the joke was Yoko Ono's music which is fair game

I hate to pile on, but I almost bowed out of this round earlier. It's only because I found myself with sweet fa to do this afternoon, and no energy to do anything else, that I sat and listened to the songs on this list I hadn't listened to earlier. I've mentioned before that one of the reasons I play is to try and expand my music experience, but tbh I'm having a hard time finding music I like in this round, and what I do like doesn't seem to be anywhere close to the top 6. If the few I like get voted out, I'll probably drop out. I'm glad the 70s game is running in tandem, I'm much happier over there, and I expect that the same will apply to the 80s.

For my sins I'm a football secretary for my local step 5 non league side. It's a tough gig with all the paperwork but I got recognised as a making the club the most friendly to visit and I've got some brilliant friends as a result as far as Bristol out of it. With the players - sometimes I have to be tough and it can be like herding ferrets around an assault course but it's mostly good. I don't sack the managers - leave that to our chairlady who can be brutal if needed!
