Actually a bit saddened by this news, though it was expected. I always quite liked Prescott's punchy style.

She was talked in the dying bigots thread. This thread is for those who actively participated to Nazi activities during WWII. And there are very very few of them nowadays, for obvious reasons. Haverbeck was not one of them.

A veteran of a time when a politician had the guts to say what was really on their mind, and at least a few braincells to back it up. RIP.

One less in an impressive series of British political elders: Tebbitt, Skinner, Bill Rodgers, Dick Taverne, Heseltine, Hattersley, Douglas Hurd, Norman Fowler... Quite a bubble which is destined to explode sooner or later.

As mentioned in the Dying Bigots thread, German Holocaust denialist and Neo-Nazi activist Ursula Haverbeck has died at age 96. For the D-A-CH-List, she is considered another miss because we included her on the first two lists in 2021 and 2022. But ultimately it is certainly a death that we are all "happy" with. One Nazi less. https://www.n-tv.de/politik/Mit-96-Jahren-Die-Holocaustleugnerin-Ursula-Haverbeck-ist-tot-article25376445.html

As if nobody has lied on or greatly exaggerated parts of their CV before. The arising of this story suggests they've run out of government news to attack and now have to go for relatively minor things about specific MPs. This was essentially the crux of beer gate.
