Hello everyone from Germany! Lurking around since around 2017, failed to compile my own list of picks yet another time for 2020 but surely won't miss 2021 (if there's anyone still alive by then).

You’ve just contradicted yourself in the space of two sentences. Look at page one. We are unearthing names of people in their 70s-90s who have not previously been mentioned elsewhere (as well as collectively highlighting others). The UK Singles Chart used to be huge in Britain before the introduction of digital downloads just over a decade ago. I don’t expect many non-Brits to understand that because it’s likely not something they’ve been exposed to. This thread acts as an alternative place to collectively bunch people and post news / obits. Once I get the A–Z of 50s and 60s musicians done I’ll proceed with the following decades, and then when the thread has “complete” records people can refer to, it will make a lot more sense and hopefully be very useful. Much of this info takes a lot of digging online and it’s time consuming. You’re very welcome to contribute. And on your final point, extra curricular means non related. This is related to deadpooling as we’re trying to work out who is alive vs who has died. If you still disagree with me, then why not just take it up with a moderator privately rather than repeatedly trying to cause friction on here?

Loretta Lynn hasn't tweeted in over a month, or nobody has tweeted on her behalf. That on its own isn't a red flag or cause for concern. However the fact nothing has been tweeted about the passing of Kenny Rogers does surprise and concern me.That is out of character and makes me believe that her own health is now rapidly in decline.

Well, this comes as surprise to me! When Charles dies, I shall be queen...again!!!

Aye, I'd better start scrambling some of the usual suspects just in case I squeeze a late winner past the dogged Deadsox defence

Good Moring! Today is Thursday, March 26th. Norway has 3,100 known cases as of last night. 14 have died. There are over 21,000 deaths worldwide, not including the estimated 24,589 unregistered Chinese deaths My 16th Day working from home. Keep safe and brave!

There are some games which do not follow the calendar year so you could join one of those. Midsummer Deadpool could be brutal this year and there might be another ABC deadpool. There is even a small chance that there may be a new round of Scavenger Hunt Bingo (don't hold your breath) Welcome aboard

I'm actually starting to think the stock market has hit the bottom. People slowly get used to the death rate and the fact that hospitals are under strain. It ceases to shock and people look to getting back to work.

I mean it’s looking like they could all very well be alive (minus Adkinson). Considering they had their hit nearly 65 years ago, that’s pretty incredible in itself! Sad however to see at least 3 of them have lost children of their own.

Dream Weavers: Not sure if this is of any further help in tracing Wade Buff and Mary Rude Buff, I'd guess this shows some family if it is the right one: https://www.ancestry.com/boards/surnames.buff/118 Lee Turner was alive and kicking in 2016, here's his boy's obit: https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/name/lee-turner-iii-obituary?pid=180284860 and here's his homepage, however little biographicals to help: https://turnersong.weebly.com/about-us.html. Doesn't appear to have a copyright date on the page so who knows how up to date it is, however, I'd have thought the Jacksonville press would have reported his death as a bit of a local celebrity, and I can't find anything.

Hm, interesting... found a 2015 video of Wade Buff: Video evidence is of course more compelling evidence than the YouTube comment. The YT comment said "It's Almost Tomorrow" was written while the commenter's dad was stationed in Germany, which doesn't match up with the biographies of the Dream Weavers that state Adkinson and Buff wrote "It's Almost Tomorrow" in high school.

Maybe we could get the chinese to help. There epidemic is over and they've a billion people. A few hundred thousand of chinese workforces must be nurses and doctors? Or does our national pride preclude such common sense?

When will you covidiots get it into your very, very dense skulls that it is not the fucking number of deaths now or later that matters? It is a question of overwhelming the NHS, the number of beds and ventilators. That is the point of flattening the curve. The NHS is set up to deal with the routine number of cases, such as car crashes and accidents and elective surgery, etc. If the wave is too large, the system collapses. The Chinese dumped 42,000 health care workers on Wuhan. Where is the UK going to find the workers and medical supplies?
  18. 1 point
57 deaths across the UK added to total. Not sure that justifies locking down a country when 460 people a day die of heart problems.

...Unless, perhaps, all the Royals are dead and Meghan is Queen now?

Yeah, a DEAD marker will be added beside the name
