Sid Caesar, Rodney Dangerfield, George Burns, or more recently, Carl Reiner, Mel Brooks and Jerry Stiller - with some of these growing up and learning their trade in New York before moving to California. You can already predict that Woody Allen will eventually be on the list, and Jerry Seinfeld, too, if the list lives long enough. (Edit: other names: Larry David, Bette Midler, Billy Crystal (!)) The only time I’ve ever heard it mentioned outside of forums was seeing a box set of it on the shelf at a relatives house (1970’s born couple). I've moaned about this before. Acting is a profession where the sex of the individual is relevant. If you are a casting director looking to cast a female role, you will (with very few exceptions) be looking for a female actor. Or a male actor for a male role. It is useful to have words which distinguish between the two, and it seems foolish in the extreme to discard them for the sake of "inclusivity" (if that's the word). 7 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I saw enough from the adverts to know I would hate the show.
