I also reckon the financial woes over at GBNews might have played a role. Said here previosly that it would be interesting to see if GB News falls away either going online a la Talk TV or all together after July as I suspect Ofcom will finally get their finger out of their arse from July. Of course, those were the voices in his head saying "Nige, you could actually win a seat, the Tories are in wipeout mode". It is simply self-advancement, self interest. A man who blames absolutely every ill the UK is suffering on immigration. Unfortunately, he has been handed that platform by a Government who has let it get out of control, but it is a ridiculous one issue party. First it was the EU, then Brexit wasn't done properly, now this. He's simply the National Front/BNP representative of today. As bad as Galloway. Come the next election he will probably be leader of the opposition having either taken over the Tories or reform having eclipsed the Tories.
