All 3 of my teams are good but my friend's team (Taxidermied Frogs) which I submitted on his behalf has two people incorrect.

 

Brian Elliott, who is down as the Canadian ice hockey player should be the The Patton Brothers comedian.

Colin Farrell, who is down as the famous Irish actor should be the English actor born in 1938.

 

Both of these were specified when I submitted his team.

Astounded that Georg Koch made the Drop 40. As someone that has zero interest in football I find it hard to gage if these types will obit so I never pick them. Especially when more famous footballers have been been ignored by QO sources before.

I did e-mail yesterday to change my joker from Isabel Veloso to Georg Koch, but I see it was automatically changed to Eddie Annand, whom I do not choose as my joker. I appreciate Isabel Veloso was DQed and my first sub was entered, but I would still like the ability to choose my own joker and not have it decided for me. Before the site goes live, I would kindly ask Georg Koch be designated as my joker. Thanks.

My teams have been splendidly entered, thanks to the Committee for that. 

 

No doubt there will be the scoreboard update in due course, and there may be teething issues which will be sorted out with their due care and professionalism. 

 

And we can stop bothering them with - were they picked - questions!

The beasts of this pool have such an impressive array of differing picks this year. It's quite evident that I haven't had enough time to dig out the terminally ill that were concealed from the main forum! Makes me feel silly for excluding Georg Koch and Ludek Miklosko, the latter wasn't on my radar until it was too late which will be a sting for me if they become hits. My main team has two uniques, Richard Dunn, a dementia ridden boxer, and Steve Mortimer who seems to be collecting ailments like they're Pokémon (dementia, pneumonia, heart attack) and is now in a carehome. My hope relies on them and the massive collection of D40 picks I picked this year, and Joe Doering pulling through as my joker.

 

I fear I will be Tammy Slaton'd with Dave Blunts. I won't be picking heavy people again.
