Fewer crossovers with Ncuti Bang Bang this time, though I need to remember to discuss authors with Biblio in December by the looks of things. Oops. 

 

I see the nefarious Pelican has a unique with Emma Heatherington too. Raul Malo is also unique, I nearly picked him on the basis he looked like shit 30 years ago when he had his one hit wonder, let alone now he's got cancer!

The thing is, with only 1 point of a difference between a unique and a drop 40 it kind of encourages aiming for the low hanging fruit.

I am quite happy with 16 uniques and 2 drop 40s on my jocks away theme team  -  especially with a hit of Denis Law on the scoreboard

 

It would have been 17 uniques but some other haggis muncher knows who The Corries are

Biblio's Book Team stopped me having, err, more uniques.  Awdry is a mea culpa but Lynley Dodd is sods law.

My teams here are "The Marvelous Pneumonia Squad" and theme team "militant leaders".

 

TMPS has a few good picks, a few bad ones and a few random ones. There's Jayapataka, the Chernobyl chief engineer, a guy I've seen multiple times and that guy I've had email conversations with. I couldn't resist adding them.

Militant leaders (probably a pain in the ass for the organizers) had some shite pun as its original name that doesn't seem to have survived (maybe that's for the better?)

Biden + Trump sure are surprising Drop 40 members.

 

Main team has 3 uniques - not many, but still more than I was expecting, honestly. Micunovic, Sinclair, and Mori are all decent picks but not the greatest (Mori I just refuse to remove on principle)

OAPs has 6 uniques, the 4 I expected (Benson, Butler, Harbison, Waggoner) and 2 that aren't too surprising (Roberts, Sensenbrenner).

DPTP has 13 uniques - jeez, more than one team submitted Carpenter, Harris and Swift?

Only looked at Drop 40 currently and I'll add to the list of those surprised Koch is Drop 40. 

Never considered that likely, otherwise I would done a free transfer from theme team to main.

 

Also surprised about Nigel McCrery. Terminally ill, yes, but it could be Parkinson's, cancer.. anything.
