No living former or actual US president (same for first ladies) has major health issues or is in major health decline as we can all see with images of Jimmy Carter funeral…so it’s almost certain, we will have to wait a decade at least to see an other state funeral (in more many american president have easily reached 90y old in the past).

CNN were making a big deal over who shook whose hand. I only noticed Obama shaking Trump’s hand. The Bushes gave him the swerve and everyone else took their seat from the other side of the aisle.

 

The telling one for me was seeing Kamala Harris not being able to look at Biden. She looks like a gold digger who has learned her elderly husband will outlive her…

Not 100% sure but it looks like W. Michael Blumenthal to me, Carter's Treasury Secretary who turned 99 last week.

 

Which makes me wonder if the two other surviving cabinet members Joseph A. Califano Jr and Ray Marshall are there.

I would be surprised if he does, especially if Trump is still in office.

 

Could be bias as I think we should have less state funerals + the other various distinctions "notable" people get upon death (lying in state at the capital for example).
