Nothing in the UK Charts but they did max out in the US Billboard Hot 100 at #2 with 16 Candles in 1958. Again, I cannot find an obit. Second to last according to this Facebook tribute. "We mourn the passing of Harold Torres, original member of the Crests, on July 18, 2024. L to R: Patricia Van Dross, Johnny Maestro, Harold Torres, Talmadge Gough, J.t. Carter. With Harold's passing, J.T. Carter is the sole living member of the original Crests' line-up."

Ulitzer95 12,690 Posted August 7 Just looking at the wiki page for The Zimmers. 37 members now marked as deceased. 12 are not though. Are any of them really still alive? For example, Dexter Fletcher's grandmother Grace Cook was a member. She was still living at 90 in 2016 when someone did an interview of her with new pictures... but that was 8 years ago now. She'd be nearly 100. Is she actually still with us?
Spade_Cooley 9,562 Posted August 7 Was still alive on her 99th birthday last year, don't have the stamina to go through Fletcher's Instagram to see if he made a similar post this year (still got PTSD from his season of Gamesmaster).

Thanks Spade. Didn't post anything this year, and hasn't posted on there about her death, so I'm guessing still alive but has deteriorated.

I don't think she will be troubling the list until at least 2040. Barring accidents. Kate Bush would have been an eligible pick in the latest round of Scavenger Hunt Bingo but was not picked which got me thinking if Kate (Heaven forbid) got really sick then, considering her reclusive nature, we deadpoolers might not find out about it until too late. She did a few radio interviews when Running Up That Hill went to No.1 a couple of years ago but sightings are rare. The media didn't know she was pregnant until Peter Gabriel blurted it out on a chat show. Deadpoolers are going to have to take a decision at some point as to when would be a good time to start just in casing her but would it be worth it opposite a bird in the hand
