Lord Fellatio Nelson 6,218 Posted December 12, 2016 It says that he had epilepsy. I could have sworn that he had been in a serious accident in the past? Edit: He did, Hong Kong 1996. That could have had a bearing on his overall health, I suppose.
charon 4,943 Posted December 12, 2016 Every jockey of his age would've been blounced. The jump boys have it worse, but, fuvk me, brave cunts.
John Kettley 49 Posted December 13, 2016 Red Marauder, winner of the 2001 Grand National (in which only 4 finished) dead aged 26. That's three Grand National winners' deaths inside a year... And another - Lord Gyllene, who won the 1997 'Monday National' (ridden by the aptly-named Tony Dobbin) by miles after bomb threats postponed Saturday's race. He was 28. Only a few months to go before the 50th anniversary of Foinavon's Grand National, and there are plans afoot to celebrate it in the village where he was trained. And Measure of my Dreams in the sweepstake at the other pub. Probably needs a Foinavon-style fluke.
