time 8,626 Posted December 25, 2022 Morning all, and a Merry Christmas (other festivals are available). I hope everyone got what they wanted this year - I got my gas bill.
Death Impends 8,008 Posted December 25, 2022 Merry Christmas, all! I also evaded Whamageddon, I've been working from home this season and mostly have left the house just for groceries, so those grocery trips were the only major risks. But that never materialized.

Clorox Bleachman 2,455 Posted January 3, 2023 Now that the Christmas decorations are coming down... Does anyone have a cursed Christmas heirloom that they wish to share? I do. My great-aunt bought this for my grandparents for Christmas in 1999. That set of grandparents have long since died, but it lives. The batteries have never been changed. There's a button to turn it on but quite frankly it comes on whenever it wants. Actually, that's what happened when I tried to film it today, hence the start being cut off. Can be scary at night. The off switch is for decoration only. It plays its cover of Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree for 80 seconds and there is nothing you can do to make it shut up. It used to be in A Major but now it's sort of between keys and then it jumps down an octave. I have no idea why there's an upside-down "Happy Birthday" sticker on the side. Having said that, we always look forward to unpacking it and seeing what zombified state it's in. Going to film it every year from now on, until those dusty poinsettias finally stop spinning.
Bibliogryphon 9,592 Posted August 12, 2023 Buying a newspaper this morning and the supplement fell out on to the counter and I actually gave an involuntary sN-word at the back page offer I mean who actually buys this stuff! £200 - one figure delivered every four week between now and the festive season

TQR 14,408 Posted November 14, 2023 A campaign has started to get Highway To Hell to Christmas No.1 this year to mark AC/DC’s 50th anniversary. I’ll fully support this if it means them sausage roll cunts fail and fuck right off, though I’d have preferred the campaign from last year to get The Specials to no.1 to have been successful.

TQR 14,408 Posted November 15, 2023 Tbh I'd say this campaign might be futile looking at the state of Shane MacGowan. Almost certain FONY will finally make No.1 in the event of his demise within the next 5 weeks.

TQR 14,408 Posted November 21, 2023 As a present to all Tory wankers, there’s no Kunts this year either. Christ, the charts are shaping up to be almost normal this year!

Great Uncle Bulgaria 1,292 Posted December 2, 2023 First out this year on Whamageddon. In London today with GAB to see a show for a wedding anniversary celebration and some bloke on a tricycle pulling an illuminated trailer was blaring it out.

I didn't even get out of the starting blocks, less than a minute after midnight OSPjr came into the bedroom playing it at full volume, he had set his alarm to get me as soon as possible, apparently he had been planning it for months, wee shite 1
