CarolAnn 926 Posted January 3, 2017 LFN, I hate it when you get me thinking, especially when I'm sent down Reminiscence Road..... Cars in red were mine, others were only mine by virtue of community property laws. I get credit 'cause I helped pay for them. Some years are a little hazy. I'm old. Sue me. 1982:1972 Plymouth Duster - best car I ever owned until my ex husband ran it into the side of a high school. Really. ~1985: 1979 Dodge Charger Super Bee - woohoo! Childless, gorgeous, and a raging alcoholic in this one. No, my ex did not have a key. ~1985: 1977 (?) Chevy Cheyenne - ex husband about killed me with an exploding battery in this one 1989: 1989 Dodge Shadow - came with an epic "Dodge Girls have more fun" stadium jacket. I put 95K miles on this car before I had to replace the clutch. 1994: 1978 (?) Toyota Cressida - absolutely hated this car. Drove it as a favor to my current husband. I am still making him pay for it. ~1997: 1995 Toyota Paseo - was a great car until my oldest topped 5'8". 2000: 1998 Pontiac GrandAm - the less said, the better. 2000: 1997 (?) Mustang - chick mustang. Not worth discussing. 2002: 1998 Mustang GT - beginning of husband's midlife crisis (that hasn't ended). 2004: 2004 Dodge Intrepid - best Mom car I ever owned. You could fit a kindergarten class in the trunk. 2005: 2005 Pontiac GTO 6.0 - more midlife crisis. 2008: 2008 Pontiac Solstice - even more midlife crisis. 2008: 2008 Jeep Patriot - if you look hard enough you will find the beginnings of a class action lawsuit on this car. Beside the point, though, because my husband totaled it. Yes, there is a pattern in my life. 2013: 2012 Toyota Yaris - my current Texas to California commute vehicle. 2015: 2012 Honda CBR250R - temporary motorcycle. 2015: 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Mean Streak - damn thing sets off car alarms. 2016: 2012 Yamaha R1 - just a streak of white going by. 17 cars/motorcycles in 34 years. Not 50, but every one of them has a story.

Toast 16,140 Posted January 4, 2017 A red Mini Clubman estate, I think there was a discussion about these with photos somewhere. A blue Talbot Samba (French shite) A blue Maestro A silver Escort A blue Fiesta Don't think I've missed any out. All scrapped because I hang on to cars until they start to fall apart. Except the Escort, which I sold to some ebay chancers when I knew something expensive was about to go.
