They can kill you if they get stuck by causing complications eg sepsis, so worth mentioning I think. iirc Pete Burns had them several years before he died. I think they can sometimes be a good indicator as to overall health. In saying that I’m at an athlete level of fitness and I’ve had them before, so just depends.
