Everyone’s favourite mentally ill person slagging off the site again. Iain obviously got this news lurking on here because there are no English obits yet. Hi Iain!

Am I missing something? I haven't heard of any other celebrities dying today or yesterday.

I've seen a few music-related twitter accounts delete their tweets because they though he was Ray Stevens the Grammy-winning musician...

I've just checked Scotland's People 2016–2021 and she's not there. Possibly lives in England now though.

If you need further proof of her being alive, Talking Pictures shared a post about the docu series in January on Facebook and they talk about Dainton in the present tense...

Patricia Dainton reportedly dead aged 93:

Couple of early 1940s films and the UK's first daily soap Sixpenny Corner.

Wouldn't surprise me if she was the last survivor of many of her films.

Cropper, but at least you were closer than the obit, who calls him Coker.

A surprise/shock, whatever!

eta - Assuming it's true of course. One or two things in that write-up cause me to doubt it.

He's still in Corrie as of this week as a regular so if it were true, you'd expect it to be major news pretty immediately.

Nielson is a fan of Leicester City, not Rangers. The local favourite spots is weird too, as is getting the Roy role aged 29.

So suspect this is a very well crafted fake.

David cherished his family and enjoyed spending time with them, taking holidays to the countryside, cycling, and walking. His favorite local spots were Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square.

Hmmm.

If true a massive shock as he is still very active in the show and appears prolifically and has looked fine in recent episodes.

Yeah says he landed the role of "Roy Coker at age 29" when he was in fact 46 when he landed the role.

It is pretty well written as hoaxes go.

Only well enough to fool gullible Europeans who have never heard of him.

I will also add that the IP address who edited his Wiki page originally to add death info with the above "obit" has been blocked on there in the past for abuse.
