Eddie Stobart turns 89 next year. A big name (in road transport circles) in the UK.

As his son was limited to 56, he has got to have an apt lifespan too.

Mike Adamle is likely one to keep an eye on in the years ahead.

Speaking of people with (possible) CTE, I found this:
The father of former ice hockey player Stephen Peat fears he may be close to death and homeless.
In 2015, Stephen also pleaded guilty to arson by neglilence relating to a fire in his father's home.
Likely won't get a obit because he's one of these smaller Canadian ice hockey players but we'll see. Just wanted to post this here.

If it helps, I'm still waiting for a Sasha Lakovic obit.

Yeahhhh... and even he got a nation Global notice about his inoperable brain cancer. Stephen only has regional CBC articles.

If Stobarts are delivering the news, he'll be three weeks dead before we hear...

Janie Jones is still about I see. Though not sure of the state of her health.

British murderer Sidney Cooke will be 91 next year. Surely an appropriate replacement for Brady?

A snippet in a Financial Times interview with Mark Gatiss from last month:

Quote

Our afternoon tea stand is only half-finished — a miniature Victoria sponge untouched on top — but time is running out. Gatiss recognises someone at the door to the restaurant, a frail figure in a wheelchair, wearing a beanie. It’s Ian Holm, the 86-year-old actor who just three years ago was appearing as Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit films. “He was brilliant,” says Gatiss, transfixed. Human mortality can be troubling in the flesh. But on the screen, in the right hands, it glistens.

Making a last minute bid for the Deathlist 50?

There's always one boxer that falls into a coma in December to trouble your DDP longlist, and this year it's 26-1-0 super middleweight Erik Skoglund, who lost to Callum Smith earlier this year.

Ian Holm cannot die yet. Tom Skerritt is first, or so the movie said.

John Hurt (25th of January, 2017)

Harry Dean Stanton (15th of September 2017)

Tom Skerritt

Ian Holm

Yaphet Kotto

Veronica Cartwright

Sigourney Weaver (two movies later)

Edit: Well, Tom Skerritt gives no indication of dying anytime soon...

Well, given Hurt and Stanton were alive a year ago, get Skerritt and Holm on your shortlist. A cheeky double!

:D

Well, it's eye cancer. So even though I would not like to have it, it's not a vital organ! So not a lock yet.

Likely obit since she was Governor during Katrina.

I'll safely assume every single governor of a state gets an obit.

I was going to say I thought Eddie Stobart was already dead?
