On Loose Women today

Whole interview with him was conducted with the banner underneath him reading

John McCririck: 'I'm Not Dying'

I took a photo of TV screen on my phone hence rubbish quality.

Methinks he doth protest too much. (Still had same ridiculous hat and jacket on too).

He says it's just a chest infection...

In which case reality and John have parted company

If he tips a horse - back a different runner

He's 78 and "recovering slowly" which could mean his immune system is ripe for another battering if someone sneezes over him.

I'm wondering why he didn't go for his free NHS flu-jab.  :sherlock:

He looks like shit, like he did before without the 'Flu diet' he has been on....

His face looks awfully long now and I cannot help but think that, with some fettling of his attire, he would be the spit of Postman Pat.

He may not be dying, but I trust he'll be on the 2019 list !

"McCririck, 78, was the face of British horseracing for as long as anyone can remember."

Cheers, that makes me feel ancient.  I remember watching racing on TV for years before McCririck showed up.  There used to be Julian Wilson on BBC, and ITV had John Rickman, a genial old boy who always wore a trilby hat, which he courteously used to raise when signing off at the end of the programme.

I was supposed to go to Newbury races today.  Glad I didn't, it's bloody cold and spitting icy needles of rain.  Not missed any winners either.

A most depressing read. Won’t be announcing his death, no funeral at his request.

And its all Claire Baldings fault. So 2 out 3 ain’t bad ;)

Well, as no one seems to want to start a thread for him, I thought I'd do it.

He's not looking very well at the moment. What's the betting he's going to appear on the 2019 list?

Guaranteed to be on next year's list... if he even makes it that long

The weight loss he has shown is typical of people with cancer, as well as some other illnesses

Plus he's a British media personality, which is exactly the kind of person the Deathlist committee loves to include

I feel with John he is suffering from terminal cancer but isn't saying.Am I the only on who thinks that?He seems like the type to keep it quiet.

It's a bit of a punt for everyone that chose him but I believe my eyes rather than what he is telling everyone.

I was reminded of Robin Gibb when I saw McCririck. I thought there'd be a decent chance of him being a hit on my Hare DP list.

Reminds me of Michael Winner, tbh.
