msc 18,479 Posted February 5, 2020 Right, those loopholes @Ulitzer95 brought up. A very swift DDP Cmme was called and has come to quick decisions: On the matter of the Scottish Sun counting as a QO. This was a complete split decision. As a matter of fact it hasn't been accepted as a Qualifying Obit in the past, and so accepting it now in February would be a rule change during the game. So for the rest of 2020, the Scottish Sun isn't counted, sorry. On the matter of ITV, the rule said the regional ITVs counted. Ergo, it suggests STV and UTV which ARE ITV regions ala the BBC Scotland which we already accept. So, they are allowed and yes, some of you have picked team members based on that assumption. The QOs will be much, much clearer in 2021.

gcreptile 10,979 Posted February 6, 2020 In the end, Velasquez might "only" be my John Lewis, who I couldn't pick because I committed to submitting my team a little earlier. Still, If Pete Felton dies and obits, it's almost mathematically impossible to beat my team - simply because of the still outstanding canon picks which we either all get or not at all (esp. Trebek, Banali, Sang-Chul). And David Hagen, well, he's in hospice Ricksen-like. That aside, I should have just picked John Andretti instead of whoever you think is my weakest pick (Kerslake?). It's still going to be very close. Edit: Score update tonight, it was already going to come because of Kirk Douglas.

msc 18,479 Posted February 9, 2020 Standard Jan-Feb DL forum moans about the DDP 2015 - the QOs 2016 - the QOs 2017 - the QOs (leading to one host flounce) 2018 - the QOs (this might have been me...) 2019 - the Qos 2010 - the existence of the theme team league 10/10 for a new grump piece. Of course, my favoured (but currently outvoted) solution to that is to axe the theme team league entirely.
Sir Creep 7,070 Posted February 9, 2020 Top 6 teams DDP at present: 15 total women. An average of 17.5 men/2.5 women. Our over-challenged leader has the SECOND MOST WOMEN. 3. To look us in the face and honestly think that my theme team is all 20 men is a legit theme team carrying about air of distinction about it from a typical 17.5 man main team is to present yourself an ignorant fucking retarded twat. You truly suck at what you do, which is don a hat of leadership and say yeah a mistake was made. You lack the testicular fortitude to lead. Garbage in garbage out. You and anyone who would agree with you. I’ll maintain a running list on this thread. You had one chance to fix a clear error. I’m making this terribly public so future DL deadpoolers demand that only those capable of administering (I mean actual goddamn administering) volunteer to do so.
