Notable to me I seem to have the ‘rona.

Hopefully I don’t get to feature on the daily deaths stats in a few weeks.

51 year old male runner with mild asthma. No BMI issues or other underlying health conditions that I know of..

Not looking forward to the next couple of weeks.

Cheers to all, GUN

GUN, I had it in early March. I went on a night out with a group of people working in Westminster/Whitehall and we all came down with symptoms a week later.

I didn’t post anything on here as I didn’t want ppl to put me in a sweepstake :P

I’m an asthmatic too. The symptoms lasted 8 days for me but only two days were “bad” (ie refusing to move from the couch, refusing to talk to anyone, and watching nothing but re-runs of Supermarket Sweep and Bullseye on Challenge).

You’ll be fine. There’s an upside to it too – at the end of your bedstay you’ll have a spring in your step and a new lease of life. Let us know when you’re on the mend!

Best wishes . Fear causes stress and that produces more exosomes in different parts of the body including the lungs. Take Vitimin D3 and vitamin C and get plenty of water and sunshine . Don't let the virus cause you stress or fear.

I heard that a teaspoon of marmite twice a day helps with any breathing problems.

... Does it make people not want to keep breathing?

Speaking of which, GUN, this advice on breathing exercises from the chartered society of physiotherapists may be helpful: https://fullfact.org/health/viral-coronavirus-breathing-advice-needs-context/

And don't be shy about calling for help if things are getting worse, please. May be worth ordering yourself an o2 sats probe as well if you want to keep tabs on how you are doing.

Hi everyone - thank you for all your good wishes. Up to now my symptoms have been okay and think I’ve got a mild version but I know the serious, dangerous stuff can all happen at the end so not taking anything for granted.

For now I’m fine but will stay off here for a couple of weeks. Cheers, GUN

Sorry Grim, it's horrendous that you've got Covid and I hope you make a swift recovery.

However, unless your actually famous this isn't the appropriate thread for these updates....

'Notable' doesn't necessarily mean 'famous'.

I think GUN qualifies.

Notable

 A. adj.

 1. Worthy or deserving of attention, esp. on account of excellence, value, or importance; significant in size or amount; noteworthy, remarkable, striking, signal, eminent.
