Not really... more like "idiots" for putting him on (fyi it wasn't me or most of the other people here who chose the selections...). The guy's fine! Good luck to him etc. BTW, can a snake beat a vulture? It's a long time since I've played Paper Scissors Rock, I dunno what all the latest variants are.

Yeah sure and Rolf Harris was my art teacher! John Nash was not a teacher; he was a lecturer. Rolf Harris was not a teacher; he is a lecher.

There'll be some mightily pissed off dead poolers if all of them are available for start line action a year from now.

Both the Dunn and the Biggs things came organically though. The Dunn one was before my time, but reading on here over the years, the committee thought he was ancient back in 1987, and things sort of fell into place from there by accident. (As noted by their ability to drop him from the list several times in the 90s!) As for Biggs, he was described as an Ambassador when they liked to give joke descriptions for folk (see Ronald Reagan, idiot). When Biggs saw the site (after he'd been on it for a number of years), he decided to run with the idea of being the Deathlists actually ambassador, as opposed to ambassador for running off to foreign countries and giving the police laldie. So to arbitrarily go "Oh, so and so is the new ambassador/Deathlist favourite" misses the point. There will be such folk in the future, but we'll know them when they appear, rather than try to coronate someone.

I don't really understand what's meant by "ambassador". Formerly Clive Dunn was a sort of mascot, for want of a better phrase - he was a fixture on the Death List and an exception. Ronnie Biggs did not succeed him in any real sense, but his interaction with the forum gave him a different kind of status. Are you looking for someone seemingly immortal, in the style of Dunn, or someone who is willing to accept their selection with humour, รก la Biggs? Or someone to be a favourite for different qualities?

Diappointed by the incluson of Roberts. Not sure about Nash as he was not on my radar at all, likewise Kerkorian but at that age you can't argue. I think Mubarak may have a little longer left in him. I would have kept Brady, inlcuded a soap matriarch (Alexander/Dawn/Kelly/Mercier) and put Tony Booth on the list. Time will tell I need to do more research.

Oh come on, the P.D. James one is inspired. But perhaps you're not familiar with her oeuvre?

Anybody on my DDP list for 2015 should probably go on an 'Ideas And Possibilities For 2016' list given my number of hits for 2014...

The Internet has been around since the 1960s, it was only in the 90s that it started to become widely available

I am impressed with the list and think it has great potential.Everyone the list is either ancient or in horrible shape.I reckon we will get twenty: 1)Zsa Zsa Gabor 2)Sam Simon 3)Joao Havelange 4)Martin Crowe 5)Billy Graham 6)Vera Lynn 7)Al Molinaro 8)George Cole 9)Bhumibol Adulyadej 10)Chris Woodhead 11)Liz Smith 12)Peter Sallis 13)Bill Maynard 14)Leonard Nimoy 15)Patrick Macnee 16)Denis Norden 17)Doris Day 18)Nancy Reagan 19)Maureen O`Hara 20)Leslie Philips. The only big misses I think we will have are Mary Tyler Moore, Antony Booth ,Sir Nicholas Winton and Muhammad Ali.

In their defence, the criteria is that someone's death will be covered by the UK media, therefore they can justify making the list Anglo-centric
