Dunno what you're talking about, can't wait until Gooseberry completes his list of every single woman alive between the ages of 60 and 85.

    Maybe she needs two threads?

When Gooseberry starts a thread on my gran, then I'll get worried... Threads are a meritocracy. Good ones last, crap ones fall to Page 37 like they deserve.

Jeff Butler, former manager (four times) of Kazier Chiefs, has died. He would have been the first person to manage the South African national team in a full international following their readmission to Fifa in 1992, but he was fired shortly before the game after it was discovered he'd falsified his CV. Instead, the honour went to the enjoyably named Screamer Tshabalala.

Well, we all miss guests who came here only to say our souls are damned and other ludicrous things.

Sorry been away for a few days. The doctor gave me a couple of weeks of pills to help me sleep, which had made everything into a lovely pinkish blur and nothing can upset me. lol He's 62. 63 in a couple of weeks. He is still lingering. We are told he now has a double pneumothorax and pneumonia. Not sure what else can possibly go wrong with him as he seems to have the full list now. He's now been in a medical coma 16 days. Twice they have tried to rouse him but had to stop and put him back under due to complications. They aren't yet planning more attempts due to the new problems with his lungs. We are hoping their isn't a Will because if there isn't, his entire estate goes to my daughter. We have no idea whether he has money of course, but if he has this woman can't claim a thing. They weren't married. There's no property involved but there may be investment accounts. We shall see. At least she is passing on all information and developments so for now we are being nice. We do have no win/no fee lawyers over here but we shouldn't need them unless she's conned him into writing an unreasonable Will.

Thanks for the update. Sister Wendy has been lying low recently, so it's nice to see she's still keeping busy.

Looking more and more at the data that's out there (day job, sadly I can't scour google for terminal cancer for a living), I think Jon Cruddas is going to be one of the big casualties this time out. Shame, he looked like the future at one point.

Put it this way if I was told I had stage 4 lung cancer I wouldn`t bother renewing my credit cards or passport. Median survival for stage 4 lung cancer is 8 months and only between 2 and 13% make the 5 year mark.Christie has had lung cancer over 2 years and Bracknell was diagnosed 7 months ago.

I really don't get why anybody takes this personally. The list has nothing to do with any of us. We don't have any input into the selection process. I am grateful to the committee for providing a platform in the shape of this forum for us to discuss other deadpools, invent our own, and generally witter on. But there is no "we" in regard to the Deathlist.

Just saw a picture of Richard Dawkins I can`t seem to able to share.Looks frail and the other man in the pic described him as "depressingly frail".

And Glen Campbell. He could not speak some months ago, most people did not even expect to see him alive in 2017.

Whilst it is true that chronic Leukemia could take a while to finish him off but he also has a nasty form of skin cancer and was reported to be weakening by the day in the summer. Also he was too frail to leave hospital for his wife`s funeral which was ominous. He is also 96 this year and could easily at that age and given his health he could easily get pneumonia or suffer other potentially fatal health complications.
