The evidence of my own experience is that kids LOVE toys. Can't get enough of them, black hole of money. The issue is Toys R Us sell over priced SHITE.

Earlier this evening I put on a load of washing. My elderly washing machine emitted a series of beeps, flashing lights and an Error Number. "Shit", I thought. "I don't need this." So I blanked it out for a bit and did something else. Later I noticed the cause of the problem. I had forgotten to close the door of the machine.

Went the full 12 rounds and sounds like it's still pretty close on the judges' scorecards!

We were talking about that--the demise of physical toys. My conclusion is, based on my massive population of 1, that my daughter at least enjoyed the My Little Ponies stuff and Frozen stuff and now into dolls/Barbies. However in a couple years that should be done (say 9 years old). So I suspect a market exists for her, but tend to agree boys likely to pass on the physical toys like that these days. Anyway, I can see how it has come to this.....throw in Amazon etc and it really compounds the problems that every brick & mortar store has to deal with. SC

Wikipedia doesn't mean anything as they depend on the IBTimes, which cities the Facebook posts just like us. They actually removed my edits because I mentioned Facebook as a source, while keeping the last edits that virtually did the same... strange place.

OK, and please let's set aside 'she was hacked' cuz that would be pure bullshit..... but why would his daughter HOAX her FB page? I say he's dead. SC

If his daughter lives in NYC as stated on the Facebook profile it's still only 6:45am there, could be perfectly reasonable they were waiting until later today to make the announcement. IBTimes has probably sat on that for as long as they feel comfortable with and is pushing to get some form of confirmation or denial.
