1 pointThe country as a whole are apparently split 50:50 on the question of whether there should be a second ref or not: https://whatukthinks.org/eu/questions/do-you-think-there-should-be-a-second-referendum-to-accept-or-reject-the-terms-of-britains-exit-from-the-eu-once-they-have-been-agreed/ Millenials obviously make up much less than half the adult population, and are not going to be unanimous, so it can't just be down to them. Meanwhile, which way people would vote if there was a second ref would be very much in doubt, as the polls remain very near 50:50 on this question as well, albeit with a narrow and very slowly growing lead for Remain (see the top four links here: https://whatukthinks.org/eu/opinion-polls/uk-poll-results/). There's not much shifting among people who voted either way last time; mainly the shift is in people who didn't vote saying that this time, they'd go to the polls and vote Remain, and demographic shift, with new young voters mainly wanting to Remain. It would be interesting to see how this turns out...

1 pointOh brilliant. Andrew Marr has mentioned the words General Election........ Now it’s 83% Labour supporters want a second referendum. In London perhaps but not here. This is Millennials at work. The generation that got prizes for coming last in sports day and praised for failing. Now look where we are. Didn’t like the result let’s have another vote until we get what we want. Lets have the election to confuse the matter completely with less than 6 months to go. You couldn’t make it up

1 pointCertainly not a hottie, although I would say that when she first started in Eastenders, she wasn't unattractive.

1 pointHe will never change, he is too far down the road with his alcoholism and mental health problems, in reality he probably never really stopped drinking, might of just slowed down a bit. Gazza has had far more help than 99% of Alcoholics get and he is no nearer to beating his demons, he will eventually end up killing himself like George Best it is just a question of when not if which is sad but the newspapers and hangers on don't help him either constantly putting him in the spotlight. The sad thing is every man and his dog knows how the Gazza story will end but it could go on like this for years until his body finally packs in. Sad.

1 pointI feel that it’s not going to end well for her, but whether she goes next year, that’ll still be a massive gamble, for right now at least...

1 pointFiona Shaw is great in this, and there is also a very young actress in the final episode who almost steals the entire show. But if you don't like Villanelle you probably aren't going to enjoy it.

1 pointCaveat: My opinion only. Yes, if you like black humour. No if that passes you by. I didn't much like The Night Manager and am not enthused by Bodyguard either. But I'm enjoying this. I've been trying to figure out exactly why...... Simply put as best I can, I abhor obvious plot holes in 'aiming to be at least semi serious' drama. For instance the bodyguards job is to bodyguard, not leave his charge once he's out of sight of the sniper and go charging into the building in pursuit. It's daft and grates. There are plenty of other instances, too much to say about the blank in the gun for instance....oh and all sorts of other things that could have been done right with no real detriment to the story. It's contemptuous and condescending to your audience. Killing Eve is more like 'Grosse Point Blank' or such. It isn't really about the plot as such, although there is one, it's more about the interplay between the characters. Thus I at least am not nearly so bothered about plot holes or the accuracy regards reality. It's not meant to be 'real life' whereas an element of the first two is supposedly believable, and grates when it isn't. ymmv.

1 pointIt seems you chose wisely. Government of Vietnam was forced to deny Do Muoi's death which was circulating on Facebook, but it seems the old man is now on life support and this was not denied by the hospital. Rumours adfirms he was put on artificial ventilation after suffering a respiratory crisis last evening. Plans for burial have already been announced (but even for Jimmy Carter this is true). Honestly, he seems quite fucked. Among all this I also got a brief update about Mr. Anh, who is critical but stable. 108 Hospital now contains critical Le Duc Anh, (probably) dying Do Muoi and the corpse of president Tran Dai Quang. There might still be a bit of empty space.

1 pointHarry J. Ufland, Scorcese collaborator best known for producing The Last Temptation of Christ, has died aged 91. He'll know by now if it really was blasphemous.

0 pointsTelltale games have told their last tale. All those that bought the final season of the walking dead season pass are fucked. It's why i never pre-order or buy season passes. They're also not giving any of their staff severance pay either.
