A lot of the early entries are theme teams and the long-term-but-casual players. Don't really expect to see any patterns emerge in terms of most popular picks until my true love brings five gold rings.

The marginal Tories don't matter, do they? VoNC needs simple majority? Labour/SNP/Lib Dems/Caroline Lucas/Plaid = 308. You just need 18 disgruntled ERGs* to decide that's the nuclear route to get rid of May (and most of those types are in the shires which are super-safe because they ain't voting Labour no matter what) and Bob's yer uncle. I don't think saving Anna Soubry or Amber Rudd's seats will be high on their list of priorities. But anyhow that'd be idiotic. *Yeah I know there's a bunch of Independents there too, 5 ex Lab, 1 ex Lib, and that 6 would "probably" vote with Labour which reduces further the number of turkeys needed.

Looked very well at the Mary Poppins sequel premiere this week. Far better candidates for 2019. One to drop.

Well either way her political career is over. Wont go back to being an mp after next Election, and doesn't have the easy route to the gravy train of the EU that Kinnock and Blair et al have their snouts deeply embedded in.

12 years later, then man in question who received the seal of approval from both Canadian Paul and Osama Bin Laden, William Blum, has died aged 85. He may have come up in some of your recent research due to dialysis issues.

Please check your own list posted above for accuracy and let me know if it is incorrect. My list was previously PM'd to Quim since he was the first to get his list in for Dec. Madhatter and the Unknown Man were eliminated in Rd 2. Carryover (tiebreaker) points were earned by Joey Russ (7), Capn Chorizo (6) and Skinny K (1). These will only count against you if you ever end up in a tie for elimination at the end of a round. Some Rd 3 stats: Most picked: QE2 - 8 times, mugabe - 7 times, cardin/dole/nolan - 6 times there were 8 solo picks (meaning instant death if you picked them and they are the only death in Dec): barker, escheverria, frates, harper, lear, overton, reiner, stiles 13 names were unpicked for Dec!! Good luck all!

Never lost a friend but I worry about one of them. I don't want him to sink and become suicidal. He's such a nice guy, an handsome 40 something man. I was suicidal years ago (last time was last year). I was sinking and very few people were here for me. When you are down, you have to find some light everywere to keep on breathing. The ray of light was hard to see but I finally saw it Now I am not suicidal anymore, I am fine, my life is getting better. I don't want him to experience what I went through for months I am not funny but I hope you will NEVER become depressed. If you are down, don't stay alone. Try to find every ray of light and never stop watching it. Don't spent your time in Internet or everything virtual because it won't end your depression.

In addition to all that he played Julie Christie's husband in the Oscar nominated film "Away From Her" and was the main cop in the not quite Oscar nominated film "Blacula". So 110% QO lock

A bit of a fluff piece, but here's an article about someone who used 'immunotherapy' (nivolumab) to cure ovarian cancer. The article says immunotherapy doesn't work on all cancers, in fact only a few to date -- though expanded testing on all forms of cancer may begin soon. "For the vast majority of cancers, there is an amazingly clean correlation between response to therapy and mean mutational load," Pardoll said. But there were a few oddball exceptions. An unusual skin cancer called Merkel cell carcinoma responded to immunotherapy, scientists found. It is caused by a virus, and researchers suggested the infection itself draws the attention of the immune system. Mesothelioma also responded, perhaps because the asbestos that caused it also inflames the immune system. And some kidney cancers responded to immunotherapy treatment; no one knows why. And then came a handful of women with a rare ovarian cancer.... ---------------- Anyway, this is of particular interest to me cuz when I first heard of 'immunotherapy' I poo pooed it as hocus pocus. So when I saw DDP unique pick Karen Land with '3 months to live' crowdfunding to get $$ to go to Germany for immunotherapy, she seemed a lock to meet her maker. She is scheduled to receive treatment #1 in 3 weeks. We shall see. SC
