Ok, Starling gives points to TQR and Bou. Chorizo is back in his tie, and Banana takes the lead against Reptile. Yes, Boudicca's clean sheet run has ended after 92 days. Impressive imo. 1. The Quim Reaper vs Boudicca 3-3 2. Spade Cooley vs Death Impends 8-0 3. Reptile vs Banana 0-3 4. Clorox v Chorizo 4-3

Wow! Result just in for my ward and a convincing win for our Green Party lady who ousted the sitting Tory with twice as many votes. Sadly the Tories are hanging on in too many other wards. I really thought they'd be getting their arses handed to them this time.

Can you give me details of your dreams just before the opening of the MMMDP?

Actually had a dream about him dying two nights ago but didn't mention it because he just seemed too random to mention.

MMMDP Form Guide #21 David Prowse With one Star Wars lummox saying his goodbyes this week, could he be followed by another? The man whose voice was sadly deleted from history because George Lucas didn't want Darth Vader to sound like a member of the Wurzels hasn't been in great health over recent years, so it's not a bad bet. And you know he'll look both ways before crossing the Styx.

I was visited by a spirit last night for my good deeds. She granted me one wish. I said, "I would like a motorway direct to New York from London, built on the sea, so I can easily visit my daughter any time" She answered, "But son, the amount of concrete, the engineering, it's far too difficult, too much work. You must think of something else" "Okay", I said, "I want you to predict Arsenal's next result" She paused for a moment. "You want one lane or two on that motorway?" Peter Mayhew dead. https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-48142765 Should have been on this year's list really, so a bit of a miss there.

Most things are pointless, the skill is in amusing yourself in the interim, I find. Tbh, I spent 10 seconds coming up with the team name, and then the rest of the time finding names as an excuse to use the name. It failed because it was trying to guess folks dodgy punt picks, and wound up with a bunch of uniques instead, but so it goes. Just harmless fluff. PS Saying that, a good chuckle seeing it ranked above 500 other teams!

Tbh - this is artistry for its own sake and admirable if somewhat cultish as a skill. Not that too many of you hereabouts are footy die-hards but...Carlisle once had a midfielder (fairly classy by second tier standards) called Don O'Riordan who would commit serious fouls almost at random and quite often when little was at stake on the pitch. Most of the time he just played very well. The point being, Don got a reputation as a man given to fouling for the sheer artistry of the act and those of us paying money to watch greatly enjoyed the shock and indignation of the visiting fans when it happened (this is the eighties, he's not on telly, the opposition fans often don't expect it). I'd say attempting deadpooling for maximum deaths and minimum points is along the same lines.

I was one of two people in my polling station. I only had 3 choices: Tory, Labour or Lib Dem. I very nearly drew a dick and balls over the ballot paper. The meagre turnout, however, was such that it could've accidentally won a majority. On the knowledge that my dick and balls wouldn't have enough time to commit to being local councillor, I voted Lib Dem instead. Looking at the pictures of the candidates, he was the nearest thing.

Me TOO! What a horrible year for my list (or great year depending on your perspective). Yes, I like this pool, so I am leaning toward a third year for it.

THE GRAND DEATH 2/50 23rd April 2019 Former Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg has died aged 98 to quickly give the Crowdsource list a follow up success. He and the rest of his royal family went into exile in the United States during World War 2 because the Nazis were occupying Luxembourg at the time. You would think this would lead into more exciting adventures, but it didn't turn out to be the case for him. After the Grand Duchess Charlotte abdicated in 1964, he became the Grand Duke for almost 36 years before stepping down in 2000, being succeeded by his son Henri. The one good note is that Luxembourg was in one of it's most prosperous periods largely thanks to him and his wife's influence. He was quickly forgotten by most people due to the dullness of almost his entire life, but the Crowdsource voters did remember to put him on the list. This is his second appearance on the list, dropping down to the 43rd spot.
