Echoing the wise words of Quim, I put my best foot forward for 5 months (5 months!) before inevitably cunting it at the penultimate step. Bou so graciously and swiftly assisted the takedown.
I would also like to thank you for sparing me the embarrassment of a 48-0 squonking in the final.
Go get 'em!
As we reach the second half of the year the overall hit rate has remained low. If we do not get a hit before next Tuesday we will fall behind 2011 which is one of the worst performing recent years. There is a range of hits in the second half between 3 and 10. I am therefore thinking we will end on 9 total hits.
Looks like Christopher Booker is the first Poker Tourney casualty: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/07/03/journalist-christopher-booker-dies-aged-81/

Yeah, this will do for Sid Ramin here: https://variety.com/2019/music/obituaries-people-news/sid-ramin-oscar-winning-composer-arranger-dies-at-100-1203258793/
A very worthy final. It seems that only deadpooling and equestrian are the only pursuits where males and females compete on equal footing (even bridge has separate events for women).
Good luck to both of you, I'll watch on with interest.

I'm surprised the case got this huge coverage after all. DDT was ahead of his time.
On Wednesday one of my relatives suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and is now in irrevesible coma. Only 70 too. Yesterday my mother, who is already suffering from colorectal cancer and Alzheimer's, suffered an ischemic stroke.
