4 pointsSomeone has described Jo Swinson as a Meatloaf Remainer. She'll do anything but she won't do that.

2 pointsThis one intrigues me. Roy Miller, who is supposedly 95 in December is supposed to be the 3rd oldest Test cricketer, albeit he only played a single match then dropped off the radar. On top of that, he is the oldest Test cricketer from the West Indies, just two months older than Sir Everton Weekes. One problem though. I can find no concrete evidence to suggest he is still alive, other than the oldest cricketers table (which has been wrong and outdated in the past), and this blog from 2018, which looks like it just copied the info from the Wikipedia or ESPN tables. In late 2014, somebody edited Miller's Wikipedia page to say that he died on 21st August 2014 in Miami, Florida. Of course, it was reverted for being unsourced. So, not heard from in years, no coverage or interviews anywhere. I can believe it's true. Is he dead?

2 pointsCoup? What the fuck are you on? Not really, it's governed by the Fixed Term Parliaments Act - implemented by a democratically elected government. We elect members of parliament. If the parliamentary mathematics changes to such a degree that a sitting government is no longer able to form a government then the same process that has existed for generations and is now solidified in law would be used to form or not form a new government. Most of the rest of Europe have similar mechanisms in place to prevent repeated elections during periods of unstable and fragmented government. First past the post is not a democratic system anyway. Get used to it because when common sense prevails and proportional representation is implemented it will be a accepted part of life.

2 pointsIf no one else is able, I should be able to do a scoreboard for 2018. I'd have most likely said no if circumstances were different but currently I'm in the "looking for a job" state which while dreary to be in, does mean I have the extra time. Plus there seems to be a bit of a lull for deadpool-relevant deaths (cue Blanco and Ricksen going tomorrow then), and having my HPDP framework in my Excel file will make rosters/scores for further years smoother to implement.

1 pointThe oldest known 'famous' person Chinese scientist Quin Hanzhang has died at 111 .You'll need Google translate f or this I'm afraid ... http://life.eastmoney.com/a/201908161207879672.html

1 pointQin Hanzhang is dead according to Wikipedia, have not seen any articles to confirm this however.

1 pointYes, I read that some days ago. Doctors said she was "much better" and "out of danger", whilw her daughter simply said she wasn't well. Now you know who was right. Coincidentally Indian composer Khayyam was in a nearby hospital with lung infection, and his wife Jagjit Kaur, a noted singer, was hospitalized too (she is expected to be discharged by Monday). Though Khayyam was said to be "on the road to recovery" it seems it has now taken a turn for the worse; mind, he has been in a semicomatose state for weeks.

1 pointThere's absolutely nothing in that leaflet that states intention. It clears states that "We negotiate a new EU-UK deal based on free trade." Vote Leave have categorically failed to implement that as most remainers pointed out at the time; as they were never going to be in government they couldn't deliver on that promise. That's what's left us staring down the barrel of no deal, which even Leavers who still support it will be against when it hits. The fact Leavers can't accept they told us there would be a deal is why were in this mess. Regards PR, you can show through categorical analysis of past election results that it would generally if UK votes had been made under the same system have delivered stable governments with decent majorities. Coalitions yes, but stable ones.

1 point"We negotiate a new EU Deal" is pretty conclusive that they intention of Vote Leave all along was to call a Brexit with a deal. The climb down no into we meant no deal all along is as laughable as Swinson saying she's anti-Brexit and refusing to work with the only man who can stop a no deal Brexit.
-
1 pointThat does NOT state that said negotiation is a pre condition of us actually leaving. There is nothing in that which tells anybody with a brain cell that we negotiate any deal before we leave. They could just have well have added or replaced that with the negotiating of free trade deals with nations around the globe. Sorry, not the evidence a remainer would need to make that hold up their underwear let alone a legal challenge.

1 pointShe said at her late June fundraiser she weighed 75 pounds (34 kg), which is only 10 pounds more than Tammy Faye at her final interview. She'll be yet another Mexican clinic fatality before the month is up, methinks. I do get a bit of black humor from a "I wonder what Suzanne Whang is doing rn" tweet from a few days ago by some random House Hunters fan who probably isn't aware that she's currently withering away from stage 4 cancer.

1 pointJo Swinson is possibly the worst MP in Scotland...after Alastair Carmichael. A Margaret Thatcher/Theresa May admirer who collaborated with the Cameron Government in inflicting pain on the poorest in society and deservedly lost her seat. She's Ruth Davidson in LibDem clothing. I'm surprised anyone can hear any of her speeches except dogs, she's that high pitched. And there's no guarantee she'll hold her seat in a General Election...which is why she's not calling for one. Awful.

1 pointOh aye, and for as long as the relatively young Richard Braine continues to be a player in UKIP and the party continue to have some presence we'll not be entirely dickless because calling him Dick Braine is simply too tempting to the many who find UKIP amusing/annoying
