2 pointsUp to the end of 1969 and with it the first of 6 corrie decades (probably 7 by the time I'm done) to sift through. This is who I have as living from episodes between 9th December 1960 and 31st December 1969 - as with the previous list minor characters have been ignored and I've attempted to stick to notable characters but a few nobodies might have made it through the cracks....... 70s will be added in the next update. A couple of actors who appeared in minor roles in the 60s but later returned as major characters also feature based on the later character... 1 pointThere are days (Days?) when The Kinks are my absolute favourite band that ever existed, and other days its Queen, but both produced some top tunes. But beyond The Kinks greatest hits which everyone knows and loves, here's a random mostly forgotten track from one of their last albums (UK Jive, 1989) which I'm quite fond of. PS I was going to link to The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society but the full album on YouTube has songs missing, so feck.

1 pointI am old enough to have actually had one of the enamel golly badges that you got if you saved up enough jam labels. My mum was keener on them than I was. I hated golliwogs, they frightened me. It's important to note, though, that I never associated them with black people. They were fictional creatures like Noddy and Big Ears, not human beings. I did have a black doll at one time and had no problem with her.

1 pointActually, ignore the last two. I think they're likely to be this person instead.
