Alright a quick update now on a new computer, and a new version of Excel... As far as I can tell right now, new hits are John Hume, Olivia De Havilland and David Hagen. Oh, and the substitution pick Stuart Wheeler who extends Death Impends' lead for now. Rank Team Score 1 Death Impends 997 2 Joey Russ 850 3 msc 831 4 gcreptile 815 5 Banana 802 6 Cpt. I for one had never heard of the bloke, and am none the wiser now. As for misinterpreting the thread, I don't really know what it's supposed to be for. Nothing new, that's for certain.

It is easy to miss things, I for one have only just realised that Peter Falk has died.

Okay, all updated except for those two Epsteins who surely are the same. This is for a cooler day.

Oh yes, forgot about them! (not necessarily a bad thing)

But as a measure of the Committee, how interesting would a shadow list be of candidates who had previously been rejected from the main list.

I think maybe that is a pre recorded interview because Mikhail Gorbachev is also shown from an interview he gave late last year.He hasn't been seen or heard from in months.

On tonight's Jeopardy! show, which is part of the 2002 Million Dollar Invitational tournament they are re-running, the game's winner (who advanced in the tournament) was a former big winner named India Cooper. At show's end, a graphic noted she died on May 17th of this year. She was 67. https://www.publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/industry-news/Obituary/article/83477-obituary-india-cooper.html

That's two famous Mormons who have left us lately... Scowcroft and Wilford Brimley. The only other one I know (minus big figures in the LDS Church or politicians like Mitt Romney) is Gladys Knight. Deaths happen in threes...

Somewhat surprisingly, he's my first DDP hit of the year for my main team.

Still 24C here. Feels hotter. It’s nights like this I envy Prince Andrew, lying in bed dry as a bone.

Magician/skeptic (and 3-time DeathList pick) James Randi is 92 today.

Really sorry to hear that, has happened to me before so know what it feels like. Hope you get fixed up with something appropriate for your talents and experience soon.

Got to say this, I might have said it before but, excellent job @Ulitzer95. One of the better threads on this forum.

Well my British Coal pension started paying out last year but it is not enough to live on. The pension from this employment will not pay out until 2034. I am a Chartered Chemist with 25 years experience in the analytical testing of materials for consumer products. In normal times I should find a suitable position but these are not normal times.

There's bit in the DDP archives where Big Iain apologizes for needing to add extra points to teams from the previous year. This is because everyone involved in the game missed the death of Hollywood actor Roy Rogers and found out sometime the next year. Young ones don't realise how revolutionary the Deaths in (insert current year here) Wikipedia page was for deadpoolers.

Aye Maryport and a few others have mentioned CSNY's on going breathing a fair few times. (The one that comes close being the original Black Sabbath quartet are all somehow still alive too.) Crosby's not in the best of health these days though - even by his standards - so I don't know how long that one will last. PS Jet Black lives! But Dave Greenfield died of covid. Black also not in a good way either - had a massive stroke last year. Time is catching up on our great bands...

I do love an inadvertent pun. Anyway, just been speaking to two friends this evening - also redundant with immediate effect.
