3 pointsTo be honest Mr Engineer it doesn't help your case that your list of interests includes 'conspiracies'. You are free to believe what you like in most countries, including this one, and if your beliefs end up harming yourself alone, so be it. However anti-vaxxers are dangerous to other people. This crosses a line and should be fought. You're entitled to an opinion and yes you have been polite, but you are spreading dangerous nonsense that is harmful to others in the long run. Please stop.

2 pointsThe Common members voted to hang up the photo. Now they've voted to replace it with another. Someone put a line in there designed to rile up twitter and the government about it, and it worked. Non-story. All it does is remind me Gavin Williamson is manifestly unfit to run a soft play centre, let alone one of the more prestigious offices of state in the UK. (Although a man who leaked important security secrets to the press shouldn't even be in parliament, let alone the front bench...)

1 pointIf some things are only announced on Twitter, how do you know they're correct? I can't find anything (apart from the Independent link you posted above) in MSM that says, Dr. Wright died as a result of any vaccination. Joel Kallman died from the virus not the jab. I'm not saying that no-one has died as a result of the jab but this can happen with any medication - if you value your sanity don't read the list of contraindications in OTC medicines!

1 pointThe Queen hasn't been 'axed'; they've opted to remove a photograph from a wall. Why this should even be deemed newsworthy is beyond me. The photograph has only been there for 8 years, so its not like anyone's erasing centuries of tradition. Secondly, its not being done by an Oxford College, its a decision taken by one group (MCR) within an Oxford College. Also, everyone should be offended by colonialism.

1 pointIts not exactly rocket science. If you spend billions upon billions of pounds on lockdowns and your rationale for doing so is saving life, you're not going to abandon the lock downs at the last minute if the data suggests its the wrong time to open up. Also and more importantly, I don't think it counts as a prediction when this kind of thing was being openly and widely spoken about when the prediction was made. Its like me predicting lunch just after breakfast...

1 pointCharles Dickens, probably the greatest English novelist of the 19th century, died after suffering a stroke at Gad's Hill Place, his country home in Kent, England on this date in 1870. He was 58 years old. His many novels include "A Christmas Carol", "A Tale of Two Cities", "David Copperfield", "Great Expectations", "Nicholas Nickleby", "Oliver Twist" or "The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club". His father was the inspiration for the character of Mr. Micawber in "David Copperfield" and his mother inspired the characters of Mrs. Nickleby in "Nicholas Nickleby" and Mrs. Micawber in "David Copperfield". At the time of his death, he was working on a novel, "The Mystery of Edwin Drood", the book remains unfinished. He was interred in the Poets' Corner of Westminster Abbey after a private funeral.

1 pointYou are completely out of your mind and as all psychos you think others are idiot/lobotomized instead. I'll have you on ignore from now on, won't miss anything. Oh, I had two doses of Astrazeneca and I am completely fine. My father in law is old and frail, had two doses of Pfizer and is perfectly fine. My wife had two doses of Pfizer and is fine too. No one I know has died or had consequences from the vaccine and most of them have been vaccinated. As someone who has lost up to ten friends from that fucking virus, I can tell you to fuck off from the bottom of my heart.

1 pointBlackburn Rovers have today announced the death of inside forward Frank Mooney (b. 1/1/32). I was going to post in @Octopus of Odstock's Oldest Football League Players thread, but not sure 89 is old enough! Also no mention if he's the oldest living Rovers player, but he'll be up there. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2021/june/Frank-Mooney-01-01-1932-23-05-2021-/
