4 pointsWent on his Discogs, according to which his real name was Marius Gerhardus Ferdinand Wilsterman (seems like he was Dutch, supported by two other sources 1 and 2). Then I went to MyHeritage, and this came out. It could be him, as the guy in the image was born in Suriname (a former Dutch colony) and the time period also pretty much checks out.

2 pointsI believe so. Didn’t Kristofferson accept his induction into the Country Hall of Fame? It looks like he’s presenting him with a medal of some sort.

1 pointEastwood looks healthy when dressed, but I remember a couple of photos that were taken a few years ago on a beach. He had fist-sized varicose veins on the back of his knees. He may have blood circulation problems.

1 pointObviously subjective but I think he has a decent claim to being the last survivor of a death camp to go on to become famous for a reason other than being a survivor.

1 pointI like this. It’s certainly closer to ‘antics’ than all the death notices that should be in a separate thread, as discussed before.

1 pointDeath Race Form Guide #24 Joyce McKinney Miss Wyoming World 1973 (and she now claims to be 73) but that isn't the half of it where this connoiseur's nut-job is concerned. Obitable on the back of a life that's seen her mastermind the "manacled mormon" sex case in the UK (she apparently kidnapped a missionary, chained him and repeatedly forced him to have sex with her - all of it way before Boy George...we digress). She escaped trial for that one by fleeing the UK but has more recently made the news for a surreal slew of stories including cloning her deceased pit bull, aiding and abbeting a teenager to commit a robbery in aid of funds to get an artificial leg for her horse and - most recently - facing accusation of killing a Ukrainian survivor of the Holocaust by flattening him with her truck. Mysterious to the point it's not clear how she makes a living - having apparently never had a job since the late 70s, and afflicted with mobility problems, a plethora of pounds put on since her tabloid heyday and poor eyesight, recent reports have suggested a wheelchair and homelessness are now part of her life. DDT fingered her (heh heh) earlier this year as obscure but obitable fodder, so this timely reminder now adds itself to his earlier effort. https://www.dailynews.com/2020/04/02/woman-accused-of-running-over-holocaust-survivor-in-san-fernando-valley-has-led-a-tabloid-life/

1 pointThe death of Veli Seppa should bring me to 263 which becomes the 4th highest total in AO history (behind Gerard Tierney '16, Cancerous Hatred '17 & Accthorp '06). If Tom Parker holds as the youngest hit, the 25 pt bonus would take me to 298 which would only trail #1 all-time by 10 points. Looking at my remaining list, not looking likely, but possible.

1 pointI was thinking of having a small wager on the Keno on Thursday night. Obviously I'd like a large return for my money, so I was wondering if you had any inside information I could use? Thursday's draw 768 in the NSW TAB looks to be where the money's to be made. Thanks, H
