Crowd has Rolf Harris singing on it which seems like a good excuse to get rid of another mediocre charity record. Genuinely like the three I voted up, plus about 15-16 others. This round might be the easiest split in my head into two groups of "I like this" and "I can't abide this at all" tbh!

2 pointsAndress deserves consideration TOO but imo Loren is a legend, the last one of a very small group (Hepburn, Baccall, Bergman, Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor etc…). Plus, she’s the last living inclusion of the AFI’s best actor/actress list

2 pointsEverett Quinton, an Obie-winning stage actor and queer theatre icon, has died. He was 70. Quinton acted in many of the plays of his partner Charles Ludlam, who passed in 1987. Quinton's television appearances included episodes of Miami Vice, Law & Order and Nurse Jackie. https://www.boyculture.com/boy_culture/2023/01/everett-quinton-queer-theater-icon-surviving-partner-of-charles-ludlam-dies-70.html

2 pointsI've added Clarence Bass. I was shocked that Bill Pearl didn't receive a single QO. Doesn't appear to be much love for world champion bodybuilders amongst obituary writers, or they're not sure how to write them. If Pearl didn't get one, I'm not sure that any of the others on my list will tbh.

2 pointsJust to add that all 3 of my teams are in perfect working order, thanks. Re multiple teams, my 2 extra teams are just attempts to bung 40 notable old names on the DDP so they don't become List of the Missed. I admit I also try to focus on "who would be a fun obit to research for DI should this person die" too.

1 pointI'm (pleasantly) surprised that Men at Work survived. With quite a weak field I still thought it would drop down quite quickly

1 pointAbdullah the Butcher around a week ago: Yes, he's in a wheelchair in recent videos and images and looks like he's almost gasping for air, but doing amazing for someone who should've died a decade, two or three ago (hardcore wrestling, Hep C, morbid obesity, the bleeding thing and chainsmoking cigars). Now 82.

1 pointAs tempted as you are for an early hit, do not send him a card which reads Dear Robert I'm right behind you!!!! Love, Natalie.

1 pointIn my opinion she looks frail compared to that July appearance. But on the other hand she's "only" 93 and as far as I know does not have any serious chronic illnesses, I think she could live another few years. Juan Ponce Enrile, the guy in the glasses, really doesn't make any sense. He survived pneumonia twice last year and is 99 next month. Yet he hasn't aged much since the 80s and is a member of the current Cabinet of the Philippines.

1 pointI wonder who has this one in his DDP. Country singer Kevin Sharp dies at 43. Thought I never knew of him but actually this song is quite familiar.
