2 pointsLeanora Watson died on 18/Apr, was the oldest person living in Jamaica since 3/Sep/2022 and the oldest person born in Jamaica since 19/Sep/22, was born on 18/Feb/1912 and died in Brissett, Lucea , Hanover, now the oldest person born in Jamaica is Merle O'Hara, born in Kingston on 20/Feb/1912 and lives in Canada, the oldest known person living in Jamaica is Ethline Simpson, however her case is questionable and her date of birth is uncertain, being that she claims to be between jan/may 1913, and lives in st. Catherine, and there is no recent news about her, the strongest case then would be Nora Miller-Welsh born on March 28, 1914 in Hannover, and lives in the same place Facebook

1 pointHenry Kissinger reached his 100th birthday so he is now the new most notable centenarian ever. I think he will retain this position for some time. It would be very hard for Jimmy Carter to reach 100.

1 pointI haven't seen any part of This Morning for donkey's years. I have however been in the unenviable position of catching the odd snippet of the show on Gogglebox. From an objective distance, it looks like the end of this sewer of daytime television is nearing its outflow. It wouldn't surprise me if they cancelled the whole damn thing in the near future. Dermot O'Leary should leg it before the whole thing goes down. The rest of them should be thrown on the dung heap of presenters - the Jeremy Kyle Pile, if you will.

1 pointDidn't like the huge spread between jury and public vote. Rarely has the audience's preference for one song been as clear as here. Interesting. When having to choose (in music), I always go for the bolder choice. The audience mostly went with me this time - except for Spain, which, as I was fully aware, was a lot. I'm also a bit sad about Germany. I wonder why the result is the way it is. Was the song tone-deaf? Too robotic? Maybe Germany should sing in German next time.

1 pointFinland won the public vote by over a hundred points but the lead the jury gave Sweden earlier in the week was too high to overcome. Bit dodgy when you're getting people to pay to vote imo.

1 pointOk, ok so I'm very late to the party but what the hell? Personal opinions only, curtailed because I can't be bothered doing a full analysis. First Semi-Final Surprisingly the better of the two. Worst song: Croatia by a country mile. Bubbling Under: Azerbaijan, Portugal, Norway. Song of the night: Switzerland. Second Semi-Final Worst song: Plenty of contenders, I've gone for joint worst between Albania and Austria. Bubbling Under: Slovenia, Cyprus. Song of the night: Greece. Big Six: 6th: Spain - full of eastern promise like a twenty year old box of Turkish Delight. 5th: Ukraine - the message is there, it's just very averagely executed. 4th: UK - bitchy little number - Nesta won with a similar cuntish song, so it might do well - I despised it. 3rd: Germany - dunno why i liked this. But I did. But then I heard a ton of shit before it. It's pretty good actually. 2nd: Italy - rips his heart out to a ballad. Didn't make me well up, but the whole thing moved me more than the others. 1st: France - bringing back the golden age of cinema, a little Piaf thrown in, she's gorgeous. I didn't like the usual French self-indulgence, but it's best of the Six. This has to be the worst competition in years overall. In terms of stand out vocals, message and tunesmithing, Switzerland is my favourite. I had tears on my face. Silly old fool.

1 pointIt's been a dull 2 months for the Electoral Deadpool, those pesky politicians just don't seem to die! After a dry month of March with 0 deaths, April gave us the staggering amount of.... 1 death. Nigel Lawson, conservative PM & part of Maggie Thatcher's cabinet, was the one that croaked. His "big" () economic reforms, climate change denialism & Brexit support made him a controversial figure (as made apparent by the reactions of our fellow forum users when his death was announced). Lawson's death gives @LizLemon 2 points (1 for position + 1 for a unique pick). No big changes on the leaderboard, @DeathBecomesThem still in the lead & the majority of the players still have 0 points!!! May May give this game some life with some deaths. Carter, we're waiting...

1 pointArt Cooley, (no relation to @Spade_Cooley) a longtime activist who co-founded the Environmental Defense Fund more than 50 years ago, has died. Cooley, 87, helped launch the group, now one of the world’s leading environmental organizations, from his living room on Long Island, N.Y., in 1967. EDF now has more than 2.5 million members and nearly 1,000 employees from New York to London to Beijing. Cooley died Sunday in Colorado of natural causes. SC
