2 pointsSo far we've lost: A delusional Prime Minister who Parliament had decided was a liar. (Set to lose a by-election) A talk show host masquerading as an MP (already leaving at the next election) And a man who's own wife would struggle to pick him out of a line up (already leaving at the next election) Hardly the end of the world. Rumoured are: The COP President who achieved very little (and is looking unlikely to hold his seat) And the Chancellor who broke tax laws (ending his career). I get the drip drip effect and the Tory psychodrama playing out in public, but all we're getting here are suicide bombers - people with nothing to lose...losing.

1 pointTwo prominent Italy based personalities, both born 1936, both in failing health for a while, both hospitalised twice this year and undergoing extensive stays. Of course routine check-ups for both of them and there's no whatsoever danger for their health. So, who will go first?

1 pointI'd say it's more the long term impact. Kaczynski is obviously a bad person, but he hasn't had a major impact aside from being seen as a key figure in Anarcho-primitivism. His actions don't really affect modern day to day life. Whereas Robertson was one of the key people responsible for the rise of evangelicalism within (traditionally) right-wing politics. His (and other's) actions can still be seen today in the (personal bias here) vile, hate-filled rhetoric being used by certain mainstream politicians, which dare I say has indirectly led to the deaths of many more than Kaczynski's actions. There's also the fact that Robertson is still a widely praised figure making him more dis-likeable, whereas with Kaczynski, some who support his ideas but very few support his methods, so hating him goes without saying.

1 pointI think it's hilarious that this poll suggests that Silvio Berlusconi will go to heaven.

1 pointPianist George Winston died on Sunday, June 4 after a decade-long battle with cancer. He was 73 years old. The news was shared via his website in a long note to fans, noting "Throughout his cancer treatments, George continued to write and record new music, and he stayed true to his greatest passion: performing for live audiences while raising funds for Feeding America to help fight the national hunger crisis along with donating proceeds from each of his concerts to local food banks." https://www.georgewinston.com/about/

1 pointPerhaps that's part of the secret of his longevity. As I have remarked previously most of the main protagonists in Fawlty Towers have had quite long lives with the main four actors all making it to 80 plus. It's the opposite of Only Fools & Horses and The Vicar of Dibley.

1 pointAccording to The 110 club and Gerontology, the passing of 110 year old Moon Fun Chin happened on the 9th of May, 2023, who was the last living China National Aviation Corporation [CNAC] pilot left alive, after fellow pilot Peter Goutierre died on the 22nd of January, and while WW2 was raging on, he personally flew the plane that was used to transport James Doolittle to safety after his notorious bombing raid over Tokyo. https://the110club.com/moon-fun-chin-1913-2023-t29515.html https://gerontology.fandom.com/wiki/Moon_Fun_Chin
