Bit late to this particular party but last night we streamed the Barbie movie It is absolutely pitched perfect with a fantastic cast, script and message I can get that it is not for some people but the over-reaction in some portions of the media actually proves the point that the film is trying to make. A lot has focused on Margot Robbie in the title role but I think that people should also recognise just how good America Ferrera is. My wife and daughter went to the cinema to see this a few weeks ago and the both admitted that they cried and I know that my wife does not normally cry at movies (I do she doesn't)

I mean, some of these people cant imagine a world without them. So they never retire. Her "recovery" after shingles was a mirage. Her not retiring was not a sign of doing better again, but of simply being delusional.

I am not a huge KM fan. I think she has managed her career very well and always comes across as likeable. However, Can't Get You Out of my Head is by far and away her most iconic track and deserves the plaudits here. it is the only KM track that has made it onto my ipod

29/09/23 28 Tears For Fears- Everybody Wants To Rule The World +4 26 A-Ha -Take On Me 18 Eurythmics- Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) -6 Sweet Dreams is fantastic but the other two are both preferable. It has been an epic few rounds of voting. Are we going to end up with all three of these on single digits?

Just a timely reminder that last year Liz Trussterfuck pranced on to the sound of M People's Moving On Up, with the opening lyrics: You've done me wrong, your time is up You took a sip from the devil's cup You broke my heart, there's no way back Move right out of here, baby, go on pack your bags Just who do you think you are? Stop actin' like some kind of star Just who do you think you are? Take it like a man, baby, if that's what you are As if those lyrics weren't perfect enough, Heather Small off of M People is of course a prominent campaigner against Leaky Sue's sickening Rwanda policy, and the mother of a Labour councillor.
