2 pointsKindly get lost with your sympathy for Palestine. They have committed and supported mass murder today. I don’t care if they all get killed. Israel needs to make sure those cunts are gone for good.

1 pointMichael Chiarello, who was a Food Network regular in the 2000s and early 2010s before sexual assault allegations derailed his career, dead from anaphylactic shock aged 61. Was on the all-star season 4 of "The Next Iron Chef" in an attempt to wear the IC apron, further to discussion upthread, but lost to Geoffrey Zakarian (as well as future IC Alex Guarnaschelli).

1 pointHave you ever been to Palestine, or to Israel? I've been to both. Most Arabs and almost all Israelis are opposed.

1 pointI will say, obviously @The Old Crem is a fearmonger and has been wrong about pretty much every level of geopolitics since I've joined. BUT. There is no way Israel was attacked to this level without Iran knowing and approving it. Possibly funding it as well. Their parliament also just had a big circle jerk where they chanted 'Death to America' so...

1 pointThe definition of Infomercials, Sports, and News Shows. I got the definitions from this page. Not sure if you mean the 'banned shows' (the shows that were selected last round and therefor won't be allowed this one) or if you mean the Master List that will be released when the game starts. Either way, yes alphabetical makes much more sense. I will do that for both!

1 pointSee, I only left school in 2012, but even as recently ago as that, things were comparably dreadful. Attitudes toward LGBT+ people were still such that I didn’t “allow” myself to be myself until about five years after leaving, and I’m one of several in my year group who’ll say that. Ace people weren’t even a thing. ‘Trans’ meant dressing up as the opposite sex for a laugh. And among straight people (as I tried to be back then), it seemed to be a competition to lose your V’s, and sex was meant to be as it appeared in the most popular porn sites at the time. Any openness about sex that wasn’t either bragging or, I suspect quite often false, was just weird. I only went to college one day a week but it was the same there too. If Sex Education had been a thing back then, young people of my generation and earlier wouldn’t have felt so isolated, pressured, confused or insecure. There’s a lot that can be said for simply feeling seen. I haven’t been back to school since but it must’ve been great for you to see the positive change!

1 pointEveryone who i've talked to (including myself) say the same thing. It would have helped me a lot as I thought everyone was fucking around (I mean some were) and I thought it was weird to not feel ready to have sex aged 16-18. There wasn't even any LGBT+ groups at school or college at the time. Now when I went to college in my early 20's to retake my GCSE English I saw there was and it made me smile. I needed to hear this as a teenager:

1 pointIf they manage to record something provable (i.e. something CGI couldn't fake) then everyone. It's odd that as camera coverage gets wider the evidence looks worse, mind. There's a Global Meteor Network (i.e. people all over the planet spotting and recording meteors and sharing the evidence), that network continues to grow with the sky all over the place being recorded. They've yet to come up with an alien spacecraft!

1 pointBrendan Croker dead at 70 after battling leukaemia. He was an English musician, who had recorded albums under his own name and with occasional backing band; The Five O'Clock Shadows. He was also a member of The Notting Hillbillies. During the late 1980s, he was an auxiliary member of The Mekons and a full-time member of Sally Timms and the Drifting Cowgirls. He had recorded with Eric Clapton, Tanita Tikaram, Mark Knopfler, Kevin Coyne and Chet Atkins. Love this song.

1 pointYes, the story had potential, especially once Joey Feek received an absurd amount of coverage. But this case never got beyond Fife Today. Though maybe the current death drought might lead to a Sun or Mirror article. Would be a nice compensation for Michel Delpech. I said a couple of months ago that I have no doubt that by the end of the year all the 20 people on my main team will be dead. Somewhat funnily, the one I would now give the best odds of surviving the year is Yoshiro Nakamatsu who was "supposed" to die late 2015. But then, I've come to suspect that he might be a little bit of a fraud.
