Rest in Peace. Now I'm completely sure Jimmy won't make it to 2034. Edit: Or, even if he does, he won't make it to 2035.

I would like to apologise to msc on behalf of the Crowdsourced DL entry I submitted ten minutes ago that gave Rosalynn 48 points.

RIP. Seems to mirror what happened with Barbara Bush a few years ago- she also died two days after entering hospice care.

RIP Domenica Ercolani (1910-2023). This is the first validated 113+ death after 4 months which is impressive given that there are 28 113+ validated living people.(29 before Domenica's death).

Mark Sutherland, Bronson Scott and Mickey Rooney Jr. all dead according to Wikipedia. Also know someone who very recently got into contact with one of the Mouseketeers (keeping his identity anonymous) through knowing his wife and have been relayed some info on the recent whereabouts on members. Here's what I've come to know. Since most of the Mouseketeers are in their 80s and spread all over the USA, there aren't any upcoming reunion plans and probably won't be any now due to age, distance and health reasons. Also mentioned that Jay-Jay Solari is ill. Some of the members still keep in touch, but others (Margene Storey for example) are completely off the radar and at least the Mouseketeer who gave this info isn't too aware of their whereabouts.

Although the last time the brilliant @Magere Hein posted and presumably was around was in 2016, his profile says he visited 2 May of this year!

It is on there if you are able to access the html. I also live in close proximity to the archives, so can check against the E+W death index there (which is up to Q1/2023 presently and which I'll work this list against when I next go).

Was that picture taken before or after he died?

Franz Schubert died on this day 195 years ago, aged 31. - Schubert's father started giving him violin lessons when he was 8, and further musical training from his local church's choirmaster (specifically the piano). He was recognized by and then mentored by Antonio Salieri. - Schubert was a teenage prodigy, writing over 150 songs- or "lieder"- in 1815 alone, when he was 18. - Schubert would become a major celebrity during his lifetime, and parties (usually held at the home of one of his friends or sponsors) where he would perform got their own name- "Schubertiades". - Of his over 600 lieder, his signature song was 1825's "Ellens dritter Gesang" ("Ellen's Third Song")- better known by its opening lyric, "Ave Maria": - Schubert would perform at a public concert only once- March 26, 1828, the first death anniversary of Ludwig von Beethoven (one of Schubert's prime influences,- Schubert was a torchbearer at his funeral). - Schubert's premature death has been contested. He was said to have died of typhoid fever, but other theories include longtime exposure to mercury (his health had been declining throughout the 1820s), syphilis, or salmonella.

Seems a massive coincidence that Jimmy has lasted 9 months on hospice alone let alone that his wife has joined him.Makes me highly suspicious this is more of a detailed advanced directive ( no CPR , IV antibiotics , IV fluids , NG feeding , invasive ventilation life sustaining oxygen etc).Basically a keep me home and do nothing remotely radical instruction rather than we need to actively or intensely or even actively palliate them now.

Ben Dunne (stop tittering at the back!) has died aged 74, in Dubai (Dubai). Son of the founder of Dunnes Stores, he was ousted from the company following payments to poliicians. Was kidnapped by the IRA back in the day, as well as being arrested in Florida for possession of coke, and solicitation.
