Fusa Tatsumi dead: https://www.mbs.jp/news/kansainews/20231212/GE00054187.shtml She lived through two world wars, but it seems like seeing herself listed as dead on German Wikipedia must've been a bit too much.

a “sad last days” article from msn… sourced from radaronline, so take this with a sizeable grain of salt to save you a click, and spare your phones the viruses and spyware, it includes statements like “requires 24-hour care” and “struggles to breath and needs an oxygen tank”, also an unnamed source (“tipster”) indicates she is “extremely weak and frequently delusional” most-likely trash, but the closest thing to an update I can find

A prolific paedophile who committed gross acts of sexual abuse on eight children, including the rape of one boy, has died in prison. Colin Colin Haworth's death came just months after he complained about coughing up pieces of metal mesh following lung surgery. Unsure if already reported somewhere, search results say no... María Consuelo Loera Peréz, the mother of 'El Chapo' (aka Joaquín Guzmán), has died at the age of 94 last Sunday (12/10). No exact cause given.

From what I saw it seems so, he was the oldest Scottish Olympian, as the oldest now that I have found is Jack Ferguson born on 4 April 1930 in Motherwell, played on the Water Polo team in 1952 and 1956

Scotland's answer to Captain Tom (but without the parasites), Margaret Payne, has died aged 93 (Would have been 94 tomorrow). She climbed her stairs 282 times, equivalent to climbing Suilven (731 metres) and raised £435,000 for charity. She was awarded a knighthood British Empire Medal.

I have come back to tell all you fantastic people from across the Atlantic not to pick Johnny Mathis. I just went to one of his concerts in Rosemont and he is still very active and energetic on the stage, although a bit senile when he isn’t singing (such as needing to read certain monologues out of a book or outright repeating them when he did it impromptu). Sounds like something right out of his albums with that magical voice even now though and he truly enjoyed what he was doing on stage and how enthusiastic the audience was. He also keeps active because he mentioned he played golf with basically everyone he shouted out. He will survive 2024, if he doesn't I will leave the DeathList out of abject shame and embarrassment.

Some names I would strongly consider... Ted Turner: the American media mogul was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia back in September 2018. The usual life expectancy is 5-7 years, so 2024 is right in the sweet spot of that. Alberto Fujimori: former Peruvian president was just released from jail and his health problems are well-documented. Being allowed to die at home in 2024? Eva Marie Saint: the actress would turn 100 on July 4, 2024. Phillippe de Gaulle: especially if Delors or Le Pen kick the bucket, might be appropriate to replace them with a French centenarian on the List. Would turn 102 on December 28. Tim Curry: I don't know what y'all think when you see recent pics of him, but he could be a good pick. Both June Spencer and Glynis Johns make a ton of sense just on age alone, especially Spencer. Katherine Jackson: Jackson Family matriarch is 93 and has been rumored to be in frail health for years now. On my personal top 50 List, I will be including Dikembe Mutombo for sure. I haven't seen many follow-up details after the announcement in October of 2022 that he was undergoing treatment for a brain tumor, and that certainly worries me. If it was a glioblastoma, the chances of him seeing 2025 are remote. Probably not a name big enough for the Committee, though.

With Norman Lear and Henry Kissinger dead and Carter all but certain not to see 100, there’s surely no reason not to bring Glynis Johns onto the list now right given the lack of any of real centenarians for the list? Especially since she very much ticks off all the boxes for a Deathlisty name

Well jingle my bells, here's another Christmas Special curveball! KILL QUOTA Only one song was killed in the last 24 hours. Inevitable; as the list shrinks, the competition gets tougher. So, starting tomorrow and lasting until the final 12, a minimum of three songs must go every day. If our scores don't see to that, I WILL. The lowest placed songs on the list will be skimmed off at midnight GMT. Terms and conditions: As an example, if we kill one song from 00:00-23:59 GMT on Tue 12 Dec, at 00:00 Wed 13 Dec the two lowest scoring songs will get instakilled. If a score tie comes into the equation, the song or songs that were most recently given + points are spared. Nobody will get the kill or assist point for any songs skimmed. Scoring remains at +6/-9.
