As you know, this game (or the host ) tends to make a few mistakes. If you find any, please let me know and I'll correct them. The final result certainly won't change, as wannamaker leads by 15 points. I haven't managed to transfer all the points yet so you can see your points, I'll do that tomorrow. > edited As ever I will count your hits just for fun and will publish them maybe every two months. Thank you very much for joining!!

Mike Sadler, last original member of the SAS, died this morning aged 103. Straight to a Times QO. I assume he was picked in the DDP. Hope he receives widespread coverage and also earns a Wikipedia page. RIP. EDIT: Telegraph QO also published.

Big up my KoS buddies @wannamaker (huge score, well done!) and @Book (thanks for running this again!) No surprises that @The Old Crem is the irritant keeping me off my cherished last place spot

As it turns out, they haven't, and the spa must be demolished by 8th February. I propose a sponsored walk around the rubble.

Juan Alemann, Minister of Finance of Argentina 1976-1981 during Jorge Videla's presidency, dead at 96. Accused of murders, dissapearances, baby kidnappings and tortures (he's known to have visited Videla's torture centers and two survivors claimed he would personally oversee torture) but never convicted. Also, Hector Sandler died last week.

So a May election then. Rishi thinks he's being tactical in suggesting the 2nd half of the year and then calling it for May thinking that laughably the oppoistion won't be ready

David Bookbinder dead at 82. Labour leader of Derbyshire Council from 1981 to 1992. Famous for taking on Maggie Thatcher. Picked in the DDP in the past (e.g. 2009). He died on Christmas Eve so if he was picked again this year (unlikely), he'll be a miss.

Next year I will make an effort and will relinquish last place.

+155 points, really great result. Congratulations to you, wannamaker! @Book: Many thanks for running that game again!

I think the law, which says your an arsehole if you are sniffing about anyone under the age of 16, does the trick. Of course that doesn’t stop the creeps i5”thinking that 16 is fair game when they are in their mid-30s. I think if we start sub-categorising it starts to give predators an excuse because ‘it’s no so bad’…’grass on the pitch’. The reality is, they are all scumbags who get off on it.

Maybe, if you're also of that age, or in the absence of any kind of moral compass or sound judgement (which would be abnormal, let's face it). Please stop pretending semantics are the most important issue here.

Being on the Epstein list doesn't mean that a person did anything illegal, he was a well-connected financier as well as an absolute monster. That being said, the documents do implicate certain people in certain activities and that should be investigated and in few cases, such as Andrew and I'd also say Clinton, there is more evidence pointing in the guilty direction than not. Some of these 'surprise' names I've seen mentioned like George Lucas and David Copperfield could only have been mentioned once in the entire spread of documents, in those cases I don't think 'guilty by association' works.

Stuart Hall- will be 96 next year, and has made no public appearances in years, shocking he hasn't already made his DL debut

I mean I certainly wouldn’t wish Draper to be in the state he has been for almost the past 4 years being as ill as he is but yeah he seems to be a massive scumbag

Jack Whitford (wiki) WAS Great Britain's oldest living Olympian, but he died on 5 June 2023, aged 99. Obit here. His Wiki was only just updated by Canadian Paul so I assume nobody spotted the obit before now. Hopefully nobody picked him in the DDP! Domini Lawrence (wiki), 98, is now Britain's oldest living Olympian. She was an equestrian at the 1968 and 1972 Olympics. Lives in Eastbourne as of 2021.

Just noticed Rupert Murdoch was left off of the list. I feel like he's a pretty deathlisty name. Maybe not the most likely hit, but probably in worse shape than a few of the names this year

Also in the Elf cast is Artie Lange who's had major drug and alcohol problems for decades. He's basically the NY Comedy Club version of Shane MacGowan.

Peter Berkos (wiki) dead at 101. Was the oldest living Oscar winner and nominee. Oldest nominee is now Glynis Johns, 100, and oldest winner is now Eva Marie Saint, 99.

My first movie in a theater was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I annoyed my whole family for weeks later still singing the songs from the movie. Still one of my favorites as well as Dick Van Dyke being one of my favorite actors. I hope he lives forever!

Man, the committee deserves some kind of medal if they, after snubbing her year after year after year, were to get a hit with her on their first attempt.

I would hope the Doctors discussed his case with each other. In all seriousness though what a dumb cunt he is.
