6 pointsEsther Ranzen has been forced to pull out of a Westminster debate on assisted dying because she is too ill. She was planning to attend the debate on Monday. Dame Esther Rantzen sends message to MPs after pulling out of assisted dying debate No new information, second time in a month that she's not appeared at an event (see post above by @RadGuy). From the article: In a statement Dame Esther said: "While, sadly, my health issues (I have stage four lung cancer) prevent me from attending it myself, I will be watching the debate closely as it affects my own decision to go to Dignitas in Zurich if necessary, to protect my family from witnessing a painful death."

5 pointsNot a death anniversary as such, but I missed my own anniversary on death list. Twenty years ago on the 20th April 2004, I joined the death list. (Actually it was a bit earlier as I lurked for a couple of months before joining).

2 pointsRob Dray out at relegated Taunton in National League South (Southern Premier next year). Bit harsh, they've had financial problems compounded by the fact that their pitch regularly floods in bad weather and they got massively behind with their fixtures and had a run at the end catching up. At one stage of the season they also had a ground sharing arrangement with Truro (also in NLS) so their pitch got a double pummelling at times.

2 pointsThis video is from Lars Von Trier a few months ago. In 2022, he was diagnosed with parkinsons disease. You can clearly see the toll it's taking on his body. Overall, the way he talks about his situation is pretty grim as well.

2 pointsFor completeness I'm going to note that the IMDb page for Miss Jason has 2 different people confused. The drag queen Miss Jason (aka Jason Sutton) did appear in Maisie. The other Miss Jason is this British YouTube star, who appears in the Celeste music video. I watched that music video twice earlier and thought I was going mad when I couldn't find him and that's why. Mel C makes an appearance in that music vid strangely enough. So I'm guessing the YouTube star just pops up in random stuff but isn't a "performer" as such given the sensible Equity rule of not allowing the same name to be used by two individuals.
