2 pointsSaw in the comedian's topic that Victoria Jackson's cancer has come back and been given less than three years to live. She previously had breast cancer in 2015 and it went into remission. (her Wiki) This time she has cancer that is inoperable and in her windpipe. Apparently she's been given a magic pill that shrinks it, but in the end the cancer will suffocate her (that's if it doesn't spread elsewhere). Daily Mail Away from cancer. She seems to have some conspiracy theory views related to Obama and a bit of a crazy Republican (who isn't these days). I'm sure she'll be cashing in on that.

1 pointThe committee wisely avoided him so far, but he seems like a natural successor to either Eastwood or Hackman.

1 pointOf some additional note, DL alumnus Mike Ditka didn't attend the ceremony because of "health issues".

1 pointHis Hall of Fame induction is tomorrow and this article makes it sound like Misty is finally ready to let go. "I’ve told him to please hang on ’til the 3rd and then, you know, I don’t want to see him suffer anymore. He’s been suffering."

1 pointIs that why they let Donald Von Shitzenpants get a bit of glass in his ear the other day? They were too busy reading through the Political Discussions thread thinking "fuck sake, that Crem talks a load of hysterical shite doesn't he?" to notice a cunt with a gun.
-
1 pointI agree with En Passant, I hate threads like these, in my opinion they should either be in extra curricular or be merged into the political rantings one because there are never updates about health or death in any of them. Older figures like Trump and Biden are fine but even those I think should be moved to extra-curricular and a second thread just to discuss their health should be created. The Liz Truss thread, for example, is one I haven't clicked on in ages because I don't care about what she's saying or done that is not related to her dying.
