Japanese billionaire Nobutoshi Shimamura of discount clothing retailer SHIMAMURA Co. died in July at 98 with so little fanfare Forbes still has him marked alive.
I reckon they'll just stick him in a wheelchair next to a birthday cake on the day, like what they do with people who are the world's oldest. Would be more dignified for a president than just taking a pic of him in bed.

The Whole Of The Moon is probably in my top 10 favourite songs of all time. Brilliant song.
I think it's bizarre that people have got behind a novelty song. I suggest it's largely a love of the whole Monty Python oeuvre.
Supporters might ask themselves "Would I really prefer to listen to "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" than (insert your favourite from the rest)
I know I would far rather listen to Roxette, the Waterboys or Erasure, to name some of the current top 5.
Recent interview with Le Monde, you can hear her speak here, telling she can’t walk anymore unless with two walking sticks, she hates medicine and sounds frail to me… but she feels young and happy apparently ? The photo is from june

Tbh I think we were extremely overdue for a lackluster year. The last time the list went into single digits was back in 2011 which was well over a decade ago. And, I honestly don’t think there were too many potential replacement candidates for the list (obviously I think people like Doherty or James Earl Jones could’ve but that only would’ve somewhat added to the tally, the list would probably still be lackluster). Even the crowdsourced list is only at 10 hits and usually they include candidates that are somewhat more fringey relative to the Deathlist standard of fame
