Going to assume now it's legit, what with USA Today, News International, FOX, ABC, the Washington Post, the Houston Chronicle, the Express, Yahoo, The Independent, The Sun, CBC, the Daily Mail, the Japanese English press, the Sydney Herald and the Glasgow Evening Times all producing obits for her. Perhaps we should wait for another to be on the safe side? Nah, points. As Sir Creep takes a lead against Joey, we also see likely the end of the road for Young Willz, the underdoggiest of underdogs left. Last year Deadsox enthralled us with his solid defence, this year he seems content to turn on the scoring, like Spain in the Euro 2012 final. 1. The Dead Cow vs Sean 9-0 2. Heef vs DDT 6-9 3. Deadsox (reigning champ) vs YWillz 9-3 4. Sir Creep vs Joey Russ 9-3

She knows that. She said as much to Sir David Attenborough the other day on the telly when they were discussing planting trees. But I'm sure she would appreciate your sage advice.

That and Wonderstuff reminiscing on my 'misspent' youth. According to popular opinion, not mine. And what's this about The Damned having a new album out (credit to @Phantom) I thought they were all, if not dead, not that healthy perhaps, and possible candidates! They must have been living blameless lives all these years. There go my unique picks. Cheers.

Read she was starting the London marathon today and thought "not bad for a 92 year old but will she finish" however she's only firing the gun.

This one was just tragic. Regardless of ones opinion of his horrific foreign policy decisions you have to feel sympathy for him.

There’s a lot of vitriol directed at Avicii from irate people that don’t know who he was. How unjust is that? It’s justified, however, from those that listened to the utterly lamentable bilge he put his name to.

I have no idea who the hell most of those people are. Have annotated the ones who are vaguely familiar.

Not that unusual at such events. Didn't watch this one but at the Diamond Jubilee concert in 2012 she didn't speak, Prince Charles paid tribute and she just smiled on stage. Don't think she's the sort for a 'Thanks for coming to one's birthday bash, be sure to grab a goodie bag and a piece of cake on your way out...'

The Lyrid Meteor Shower is at its peak tonight. Skywatchers in the Northern Hemisphere will get a view of the Lyrid meteor shower, the dusty trail of a comet with a centuries-long orbit around the sun. The Lyrid meteors streak across the sky between April 16 and April 25, so skywatchers have a chance to see them during that window, weather permitting. https://www.timeanddate.com/astronomy/meteor-shower/lyrids.html https://www.space.com/36381-lyrid-meteor-shower-guide.html Basically look to the northeast after sunset moving to southeast as the night goes by.

I was a huge astronomy when I was younger, incl. telescope and all. In the past years, I was most fascinated by .... exoplanets. Isn't it a wonderful time to be alive?

When I first heard the news of her ill health two days ago, my initial reaction was that it was a "brace yourself" announcement and that she had only a few days left to live. But later on, I figured she could easily make it another couple months. It might take a while before she suffered complications from her illnesses. Turns out I was right the first time around. RIP, I guess. Edit: I really can't imagine George living much longer anymore. Couple months left at best, probably just a couple weeks.
