Yes I needed prompting to remember he was a hit here. The name seemed familiar but I couldn't recall where from.
YoungWillz 21,049 Posted December 1, 2023 Sandra Day O'Connor is a hit for me in the Time 100 category: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-67593879 Whilst I don't stand a cat in hell's chance of winning, 3 hits overall is about my standard. Call me content. Edit: Shared hit with numerous players. 1

With 12 out of 27 Teams scoring. @MortalCaso gets their first hit of the game and @gcreptile and @Spade_Cooley share the lead on 7 hits. However the most important result is that gcreptile and @msc both move into winning position by both needing a Brit winner to fill their card

Glynis Johns is not a first hit for @MortalCaso. It was Sandra Day O'Connor. Her name was crossed out, but it's a hit who needs to be added to your table. 1

RoverAndOut 4,746 Posted January 5 The Scavenger Hunt delivers again! An out is an out, and there are worse names to have as your single out than a 91-year-old legendary composer (even if he has reneged on his retirement suggesting he's in decent health! ).

Does the first person to an out get to keep it until someone surpasses their total hits/uniques? But I remember an earlier game where MSC fulfilled all the criteria to win but did not have ownership over any of his potential outs due to other players' performances, so I'm not going to complain until Biblio rules otherwise.

There are so many possible outs it is fascinating to see who will tip over the edge first

Given the seemingly good health of both of my outs, the chances of me being first over the top are exceedingly small. But its nice to on the list at least.
Bibliogryphon 9,583 Posted January 9 Franz Beckenbaur was a unique for @gcreptile which does not increase the number of ways of winning but does pull them level on hits with @Spade_Cooley but having the unique allows them to steal Phil Collins and Andy Taylor Game (as you might say) on!
