Yes, clarifying he is eligible as rule 3 mentions. 13 minutes ago, Steve said: @arghton - I have replaced the now deceased Jimmy Carter with my first sub Guillermo Rodriguez Lara in position 2 and Esther Rantzen I have made my new sub. Hope you are ok with this? Yes. On another note Asma al-Assad (on multiple teams here) is a bit more on the border and I had been thinking if I should accept her or not. I can't find any mention of her ever having participated in an election or having held an official post. However I have come to the conclusion that I will accept her due to the sanctions, involvement in Assad's regime (see for example this) and the "etc." at the end of rule 3. She was more of a politician than some previously picked royals.

arghton 7,026 Posted December 31, 2024 Marita Camacho Quirós - Wikipedia says she's a member of Costa Rica's National Liberation Party but I can't find a single mention of her having participated in any political activities (not counting being a First Lady, standing next to the Fords, etc) Strongly considering rejecting this pick as it seems she hasn't been selected or perhaps allowed during previous years. Any thoughts?
